i'll never understand how some people are able to get staked like this

maybe they have a con-artist gene?

i'm easily one of the top 5 players in my local poker room and there is no way someone would ever stake me

but someone else with the right con-artist personality who is a weaker player and prone to tilt etc. could probably get staked no problem

just came across this. not sure what's more surprising, that it happened so easily (he was obviously a total muppet), or that everyone got their £ back.
