Just the fact that a thread about his chat in an online poker room has over 1 mega views here, kind of shows his popularity IMO. people love ziiggy (yes there are some that dont I know), but dood is extremely well known.

lol definately not huge celebrity. A couple of years ago noone knew ilari except finnish poker community and some. Nowadays some other non-poker related people recognize him as well thanks to many finnish news like "ilari lost 1,7mil" or "ilari won 1mil" like that. And he's been on a couple of finnish shows(poker)/documents as well. But mentioning that he's a huge celebrity is pretty lol.

nono:P, WAY more famous in finland are for example: kimi räikkönen (f1), mika häkkinen (f1), many nhl players (like saku koivu, teemu selänne, jari kurri), bands like HIM (ville valo), lordi (eurovision winner) and nightwish, renny harlin (film producer) etcetc. the point is, that if you pick random people on the street and show them like an average finnish hockey players picture and ziigmunds picture, the majority of the people recognizes the hockey player. But of course since we are in poker forum, you seem to think ziigmund is a huge celeb since you don't seem to know too much celebs in finland..btw, I think ziig is more popular than PA in finland though.

Nobody of my friends plays poker and nobody of them knows Ziigy or PA. If I say anything about Ziigy or PA to them, they are like what are you talking about. That's just the way in Finland. Becouse Ziigy is heavy partyer, maybe party people know him little better than average.
