Pretty sure I did that in my first post, so I'm not sure what more you want me to say. The connection is so obvious that I'm not sure what you're really having trouble with?
First premise: Skilful poker players are ones that excel in critical analysis; infact many poker hands are just like a logical argument. When you make that river bluff, your argument is that you have the best hand. Your opponents task is to break down your argument, examine the premises (your actions on previous streets), and examine your conclusion (whether your line makes sense) - and then act accordingly.
Second premise: There is an inverse correlation between being Religious and being excellent at critical analysis. Please remember that I'm not necessarily saying "all religious people are stupid"; I am arguing a correlation, not causation. There is undoubtedly at least a correlation between the two, because if people employ good critical analysis, then they won't be able to arrive at a conclusion that God exists. It's just not possible. Belief in God is a position of faith, not a position you arrive at by logical deduction.
Conclusion: There is an inverse relationship between being religious, and being good at poker (remembering again that it doesn't need to be a 1:1 inverse relationship and coming back to me with anecdotal evidence of some successful religious players is not going to be sufficient). :P
