Interestingly, that's what many thought of your public stand and deadline of the fist logo thing....that you very easily could have taken up with them privately and more professionally.

Was the unnecessary public drama and damage to PPA what you really wanted there?

Strange that one guy criticizing the PPA gets that kind of response from you. But when you criticize them it somehow becomes okay.

I appreciate the support for PPA, Patrick and me expressed ITT and elsewhere. It's humbling and it's greatly appreciated.

That being said, Mason has been a terrific supporter of my efforts and of PPA. Mason donated the PPA forum. He also donated many spots for PPA banner ads. He allowed me to promote the action plan extensively on 2+2. He promoted the action plan himself via the 2+2 Magazine and via positive posts in the Poker Daily Action Plan threads. He even gave the action plan a nice plug when he was on QuadJacks for an interview.

I've gotten to know Mason pretty well over the past few years. We meet in person once or twice a year and keep in regular communication the rest of the time. I appreciate his support and I hope everyone else will, too.

He also banned your for a while, didn't he?

Sometimes opinionated, principled people butt heads. If anything, that episode of a few years ago lends credence to the posts Mason and I made ITT.

Common, how do Annie Duke and Mason Malmuth make Final Two of 'Most Hated in Poker' when Russ Hamilton is listed, as well as all the FTP clowns. Well maybe I can see Annie Duke in Top Two afterall, but not #1. I don't know Malmuth enough, maybe played a couple Tournys with him, or was that Sklansky....either way, he cant be in Top Two worst from that list in my mind. Can he?

I did not vote, but I think any votes for Mason were probably done as a joke and not because the voter really hated Mason.

But I live in fly over country, so what do I know?
