..lets see..
There are roughly 100,000,000 poker players worldwide.
I'd guess about 10,000 are serious players and might play enough to put everything at risk..
The other 99,990,000 never bet enough or play enough to even get close to going broke.
Of the 10K serious players, maybe half actually go broke. And lets say all 5,000 go broke ten times. That's a total of 50,000 "brokes".
...Divided by 100 million... equals 0.0005
So, the average amount of times poker players go broke is 0.0005 times per player.

The average times the poker players go broke, considering that they are all losers, and broke meaning they have lost enough, and before they stop more or less forever though not that they do all drop it, I would say over ten times.

The pros go broke maybe once or twice though the smarter ones get broke on average of less than one time as they use that good bankroll management and how often they need to move down a limit or two is the question and it depends of how many years they play as a pro, but many will move up and down more than once per year and some do it all the time.

they always go broke but it's because of the skill set that make them make money in the first place.
When one is really a high stakes good it's impossible to go really broke as one is good enough to make a living and having all that extra money is up to them of how much they want to risk it and go back down grinding it or something, but they are not really bust like the usual pros would be busto and so can't afford to go busto and will use a better money management.
