I think we should have a thread dedicated to the obligatory bitching and moaning from the poker pro's on Twitter. Last year's three biggest whiners were Jason Mercier, John Monette, and John Aguilar. This year we start off with some whining from Dan Smith only a couple hours into the first day, followed by Jason Mercier expressing some dissatisfaction with the luxury hotel he chose, and finally some more long line whining from Brian Hastings.

Should be a fun summer!

@dansmithholla Even with months to prepare, the @WSOP is run unbelievably terribly. Incredibly embarrassing, registration just is not moving

@dansmithholla @WSOPTD it took me 90 minutes to register today. Most counters were closed and the ones that were open were very slow. Totally unacceptable

@JasonMercier Apparently vdara doesn't know what blackout shades are supposed to do. Cant sleep... Changing hotels pic.twitter.com/1wSPeTshqW

@brianchastings Still looking at this line for #WSOP2 5k NL after 15 minutes in line @ Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino http://instagram.com/p/Z6ltXMLdEd/

Yes, I'm sure people will stop bitching about the absolutely awful run WSOP after someone puts one of their tweets in a 2p2 thread.

I feel like the few examples being shown ITT are reasonable complaints. If I paid for blackout curtains, then I expect to have blackout curtains. I don't find this to be unreasonable. Taking my complaints to twitter is suspect, I feel they should try to resolve their complaints in person first, but maybe they have.

As for the lines, comon, the WSOP has done this for years, they should have it figured out by now.

We as a whole just hate seeing people with money bitch about anything.

Yah because they shouldn't bitch about anything. Unless someone close to them died.

People who characterize reasonable complaints as whining are almost universally pathetic dbags.

Also, @WSOPTD is a huge piece of **** and deserves any and all criticism directed at him.

NO it is whining, these are not reasonable complaints. There are people out there without running water and ample amounts of food for the day. If they don't like the WSOP then don't play. These guys are very selfish to act as though I care about their little personal problems.

If complaining about a 90-minute registration line is whining (when there is so much suffering in the world, of course), how would one classify starting or posting in a poker message board thread to complain about those complaints? Humanitarian work?

I do admire the remarkable sense of proportion of those who never complain about anything less than serious illness or the death of a loved one, because others in the world are hungry.

If you don't care about them or their personal problems why follow them on twitter? I know if I was playing in a bunch of tournaments that were costing me hundreds of thousands of dollars I'd want to be able to sleep when I had to, and not be kept awake by some crappy curtains.
