i played a bar poker league freeroll with a $100 prize to the winner and about 50 entrants the other day with some friends

those guys cared way more about the game, and followed the action far, far closer than any live low stakes game i've played

they could also all deal quite well

And given some would be better than many fish in low stakes cash: then it seems likely true
