Yes, Marco was a bit green at interviewing, and a tilt monkey.....but these interviews gave life to a usually lifeless-as-the-hallways WSOP, continuing a tradition that began with Cardplayer's "The Circuit" with Matusow/Gavin/Huff, and continuing with "PokerRoadRadio" (Sebok/Ali/Gavin, esp during the Shronk days).....with a slight nod to the PokerNews folks (who work hard, but are more beat writer types rather than raw interviewers).

It connected the poker fan to the poker table, and considering the time frame in which it happened, it gave guests a platform to make their voice heard (as well as give us answers, like during Jon Aguiar's spat with the WSOP twitter accounts).

However A) will QJ still continue with him gone and B) what poker news org will pick up the slack to provide us with the unfettered interviews poker fans desire?

Marco will be missed. I'll always remember the time he rushed Howard in that parking lot. Must see video.

although I'm not involved with Poker anymore I just stopped ny to give marco my best. I enjoyed his dry english humor, found him to be extremely intelligent.
Poker seems to be fading in many ways this is yet another blow to the industry.

Sadly, Poker ain't the only thing fading.
