Not good news for Mr.Smith. Just shocking how serious these charges are and players with such high profile names being involved. Pretty messed up if they were just playing poker.

31 USC 5363 and
5366 (Unlawful

What is that?

Edit:

The UIGEA ..... which raises an opportunity to litigate whether poker is covered, a case which the PA's litigation team has long sought.

However, the expected response from the PPA LSN:

This was one of the first things I thought also, but i'm not sure if Jerome in cell block D will follow that trend.

Boosted J plays in a lot of big games, so he very well may have just been playing poker, but who knows. The charges look pretty rough.

im going to do some pretty rampant speculation based upon the little that i know, but this is what i think is most likely:

boosted plays in high stakes games in hollywood. people talk about placing bets on w/e sporting event. boosted says, hey i got a guy that can handle as much action as you want. random rich person says okay book it for me. boosted then emails or texts the action to his guy, prob ilya or one of his suboridnates. or they have a website that he can book it through. boosted then gets 10% of the players losses as payment for referral.

There was huge sports actions in these places in Hollywood and the west side. Some betting agents even ran and still run games. Betmacho/machobet had its own game at the Roosevelt hotel and another small hotel I won't name cause it would effectively out the agent. The home set ups which were just apartments modified for 2-4 poker tables, bar, etc etc had TVs all over the place and sports bets flying everywhere . It would not shock me at all if your hypothesis is spot on regarding boosted J. I hope he doesn't get slammed to hard with this indictment, it sounds like scary scary stuff

Maybe we shouldnt jump to conclusions that he is f*****. Maybe all these charges are wrong and he is just being attacked viciously and his good name is being tarnished without any proof whatsoever.
You know, like what happened to Adam junglen.

The daily news article mentioned that the "owner" of the Bronx plumbing company was threatened after not being able to pay $2,000,000 in gambling debts from 2010.

How much you want to bet that this guy ran right to the feds after he was threatened???

Probably started the whole investigation imo

yeah, hopefully. I like Justin. But I seriously doubt there'd be federal charges against him without a case.
As for Adam, I apologized profusely and personally to him for what happened. He accepted my apology, like a gentleman.

I find it funny how a few days ago Justin smith tweeted kevin hart calling his resisting arrest a bs charge. Few days later he's indicted In a massive illegal sports eating scheme with ties to Russian mafia. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who would have ties to Russian mob but then again I always wondered to where he got all his $$$ from. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

I know you did, I was just peeved with the "he is f***** " comment because he is not convicted of anything and anyone who cares about him certainly hopes he isn't f*****.

Lets be honest we all thought the FT bosses were f***** and we were wrong on that one .

you can tie a lot of things to a lot people doesn't make it so. I mean the job of the fbi is to make as many cases vs people . even if they know they have nothing to do with any crime they often lump them in . hoping to turn them into rats , im sure the streets are a lot safer, getting Justin and abe off the streets. what a f----ing joke .
