Tom Dwan has had an amazing journey in Poker. His life would be great movie from the heights of online poker to the high stakes rooms in Macau. I think this dude has been through a lot .. I really do believe he is the Bobby Fisher of Poker. He is about to play the highest stakes tourney ever.

Seems like he looked to the side first, maybe at a 3rd party from whom he receives hints or suggestions; maybe of the imperative kind? And his lips formed something like "good idea" or "I'll just do that" in Kantonese?

He looks really beat up and unhappy. Seems like he was forced to do that interview.

I actually think that is one of his better interviews where he actually tried to answer the questions honestly and did not seem annoyed that he was there. Maybe his current 'owners' own Tritton to, lol?

maybe its time to start a kickstarter for the guy , maybe with 100 mirrion donations we can buy dwans freedom papers. honestly he should just retire and write a book about his crazy degeneracy and get rich from that.

He's definitely less awkward and more conversational than in years past but he looks like the Mack Truck of Life ran him over a few times.

If he diddn't look so tired, I would think he was doing fine there grinding down Asian fish and just keeping low profile. Robl style except from taking some time off and relax.

Can't be that many options of what's going on with him.. He would have quit already if he was playing backed chasing losses for such a long time.

On first glances yes...But It's just the bags around his eyes and scraggly hair. He prob had been up playing for days (or weeks) without much sleep. When he says he has been "gamboling allot" he smiles and it looks genuine. He honestly does not look like someone in fear of his safety / life etc etc.

I'm quite certain he does owe large amounts of $ to some people ( source : CJ podcast + some posts on here ) but honestly he looks kind of laid back. Looks can be deceiving tho and I'm not super confident in my read.

That said with all the banter about him being in trouble with Triads etc etc which has always seemed a bit far fetched imo and just the general "where the F is Durrrr???" from so many people - it is odd he has not surfaced (other than a couple of youtuber promos) online to say a thing or two at any point in time in the last 2 years +. Not like he's had no access to the internet.
