I was reading the WSOP Main Event thread and seen a post about a fellow Main Event player having an 8 9 of hearts on an ace ten seven board all three hearts. His opponent turned the Jack of hearts and held a Royal Flush while the 8 9 of hearts was a straight flush and drawing dead.
This got me thinking... If a player loses quads or better to another opponent with a higher hand...should the WSOP offer a free seat to the next years WSOP for free?
Rarely is someone going to fold quads but it is possible that they can lose.
I really think the WSOP should offer a free seat to the next years Main Event 10k buy in if you go bust with quads or better? I may be wrong but it seems as the WSOP numbers are down for the ME.
I'm attempting to put a poll on here but I have never done this before. I really would like peoples opinion if they think this would be an interesting twist to the WSOP.
I like the idea. It's not like many are folding quads anyways. Could you imagine flopping quad deuces and checking hoping someone catches an ace and bets but yet they go runner-runner ace ace and send you home? That would be a sick story to tell.
I just wonder what players view on this would be. Thanks for reading.
I think it would be a great place for sponsor's (Nike, Bud, SouthWest AirLines, Visa whatever) money but no way would I want more juice to Harrah's or anyone else.
