this is all true about sam grizzle and worst, ive lived the nightmare for 9 yrs and we brought a innocent child in to this mess,it is march 18,2008 me and my 7 yr old daughter have to leave our rented home today we've been evicted and she's been withdrawn out of her school for non-payment.we have no money and nowhere to go,sam snuck out yesterday never to return and left me and our daughter literally stranded on the streets to fend for ourselfs. the reason we were renting is because sam lost all the money from the sale of our home.about 600,000 worth and didnt even get us a new home.or any money for ourselves.weve had t o rent ever since. hes left us stranded before but never like this with absolutely nothing,im scared for me and my daughter he has ruined 2 lives, ive never told my side of the story ive always sat back and listened.but he cant get away with what he has done to us anymore.especially to my baby.he has ruined her life!!!!!!!.I dont know what we are going to do today when we have to leave here, but this is the true sam grizzle,he is everything and more of the things you have heard. Played with Sam for a few days in a row in a 300/600 cash game about 12 years ago. He was the funniest guy ever especially if you like "mean" humor which I do. The one story I didn't see in this thread was the time he played Annie Duke headsup. As I recall they got into raising wars on the first two hands....Sam won them both and was up about $40,000 (as I recall)...picks up his chips and says, "thanks a lot Annie Puke" and leaves her sitting there all pissed. Anybody that has played a lot around Annie knows that she really had this coming. LOL!!

HaHa... the old "she wanted em; i didn't" defense... holds no weight in a court of law, but not a weak position from an ethical perspective.

Last time I saw him he was just wandering around the Bellagio poker room talking to people and laughing. Didn't look like he could get into a game though.

I saw him a few months ago playing a shoeless Jean-Robert Bellande heads up on the upper deck of the Aria poker room. (Not the Ivey room.) I was on table next to them very interesting banter between them. Some younger Chubby guy with dark hair was sweating Grizzle and he was joining in the fun. Grizzle was the quietest of the three.

While they were spreading a 2-8 Razz game at the Trop every Tuesday night Sam was there one night while I was playing the game and he was felted 2 times before he left. Nick Gullo the poker room Mgr. gave him a gift of coffee before he left. So he did leave with more than he came with.

whenever i see sam i ask him for the 300 he owes me. he doesnt owe me 300 but he doesnt know that and it stops him from asking me for more. he busted a kid one night and the kid was in a daze after sam crushed his ball sack in a car door. the kid says to sam "you only had 2 outs". sam looks at the kid and says "i only needed one of them". tk

He use to play higher stakes, but I think these days he pretty much plays 5/10 for the most part.

I played at a 2/5 table at Bellagio with him a couple years ago. He was going over to the guys at the higher stakes games to bum a buy-in or two. Maybe that was very temporary. He was a character just like on tv.

I saw Grizzle playing $1/$3 PLO and $1/$3 NL @ Aria. Played bigger with him he is beyond funny. Caught a glimpse of him asking for a $1,000 stake into the $15/$30 limit and saying he would turn it into $2,500 within an hour. Also stated he is the greatest heads up limit player ever and mixed game player.

HAHA just found the story online as told by Doyle Brunson...I screwed it up big time but the gist of the story is the same. Just do a search on this linked page for the word puke and it will bring you right to Doyle's old quote on RGP(rec gambling poker). http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Arch.../msg10866.html

My friend saw him on the rail at Aria 2 nights ago, he said he thinks he was scoping out the room to find a sucker to stake him.

[Sam Grizzle has been kicked out of many poker rooms. I have played
with Sam many times, and although he is brash and arrogant, I get a
kick out of some of the funny things he says. A few years ago at the
WSOP we were playing in a pot limit omaha game. Sam was getting beat up
pretty bad, he stood up with a handful of 100's and said, "Y'all took
most of my money, so I'm gonna take whats left and go get me a whore,
let her rape me like y'all did. Have a good night." RzItUp 1999 RGP
