If he is indeed going to get signed by PS it's such a genius move, and will be so good for poker!

With football being the biggest sport in europe, and the exposure he gets... The potential for new players is huge - and if PS comes up with some good marketing campagin for new players to come in (CR7 deposit code, challenges with his name and so on) it would be awesome for the game and would improve the world's perception on poker.

CR7 would be much better than the Brazilian Ronaldo, it has the potential to attract lots of audiences as he still plays and it would be awesome not only for getting new players in but also to give a sense of credibility to the game by signing such a big name!

But ofcourse, if he is indeed going to be signed a proper marketing company should come along (not like Nadal, where the only thing I see is a usb pen in the vip store)

I don't think so. You can look at Nadal.. he's a perfect athlete both on the court and outside (parties less than ronaldo/less scandals at least lol) and he signed.

But comparing Nadal to Cristiano R., in terms of signing the potential is hundreds of times more.

I'm hoping Stars will surprise us with this signing or if it's just a coincidence and he just hapened to be playing with some1 that had that chipbox Stars should look at this opportunity as almost winning the 1M spin and go.

It's not every day you have the world's best football player using a product of yours, and posting it on facebook. He must be in the top 10 of most 'likes' in facebook... so If I worked at Stars in a corporate level I would be almost jerking off with this pic, LOL and trying to contact his manager ASAP.

ronaldo was coached by antonius years ago...he even played a nl5k session under the screenname cr7_sete or something like that on fulltilt.

That was the rumour and was also published as news bij some sites. But if i remember correctly, that account had been really shady and connected to that scam by the portuguese guy. So I doubt that was true.
