None of these companies are actually located in the US I thought. My guess is the only thing that is located in the US is the domain registrar.

Power play by the FBI, typical US bravado bull****?

Guys, I think this means we're terrorists. Can anyone from the FBI confirm/deny?

No, it is absolutely not.

Holy Hell.
don't forget

1 Count of conspiracy to violate UIGEA - 5 years, 250k fine or twice the gross gain or loss

This. While UIGEA and Wire Act can be read as not applying to internet poker, these laws created an environment where the sites may have been forced to commit money laundry and bank fraud to continue taking deposits.

While they somehow managed to seize the domains (not sure how since they are on foreign registrars) it shouldn't effect the software clients as they run off IP addresses. I'm still wondering how the DOJ managed to change the DNS records for FTP who is registered to a registrar based in the UK.

Wtf, why is everyone withdrawing, should we be worried about our funds?
04-15-2011 , 02:42 PM

The domain registrar, and every single bank that pays out money to US players. That's kind of a big deal.
04-15-2011 , 02:43 PM
What the hell is going on should we cash out ASAP and rub on titties or does it not make a difference?
04-15-2011 , 02:43 PM
The high stakes are still going on in 2-7 triple draw, they all dont seem to be worried.
