Tough call, greatly respect your decision.

Do you feel overall like Amaya execs know what they're doing?

Ike -

You had the chance to do the right thing when Brian Hastings told you about his multiaccount and you did absolutely nothing.

The stand you are taking right now is admirable, but in my opinion, it hardly outweighs your unwillingness to act when confronted with cheating, and your silence until public pressure mounted.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=3114 for the people who don't know what I am talking about

Also, Stars has told me in certain terms that the review of Brian Hastings' account has concluded, so feel free to clear the air anytime about things that were constrained months ago

huge respect, it goes without saying but ike is one of the most respected poker ambassadors who has been in the community for a long time. I remember when PokerStars management asked me and others (more for conversation sale rather than a professional opinion) on our opinion of ike being signed right before it was announced. was one of the best signings by far, results and reputation wise and it says a lot that along with Kanu, Vicky Koren such a respected ambassador is quitting. it's not because he doesn't like the changes, or that they don't favour him. it's that they are blatantly unethical, and shows a bad direction the company is heading in.

the communication from stars lately has been an absolute joke and literally the only ones defending them are people who have no idea what is going on and are naive to think the lies and brainwashing of a once respected and admirable company are truth when they just aren't. believe me, I was on the same boat before, that PokerStars was a great company and still is so there's no way they would do x and y, then I realised times have changed. they !were poker, cliche but it's just true.

it's not too late, PokerStars admitting some mistakes and correcting them is much more respectable the continuing to lie to everyone, be stubborn and defend their hopeless case. some serious pr and goodwill damage has been done but it's still salvageable..

anyone working for stars should really take a second to reflect what is going on and consider the overwhelming backlash from players who have been around for years and years of varying VIP levels, skill levels and backgrounds.. especially many of the staff who were once professional players themselves!

Respect to Ike and everyone else who is voting with their wallet not to support a company that is quickly turning poker into a casino game.
