pimprexel, sorry to hear all this. It's sad when good people get screwed over in life like that. I hope this all hasn't wound you in a way you will find yourself forced to 'look the other way' next time someone comes by that needs a helping hand, afraid of what might be his or hers intentions. That would be a shame, too few a men these days to come by already take care,
Why are you being a "hater"? It seems like you don't even know me.
In any case, MicroBob made my point pretty well. I was saying that, while I normally am TOTALLY against airing of relationship dirty laundry, if the other person has committed criminal acts against you, their right to privacy obviously vanishes.
After I made my initial post about this (asking Brandon why he wasn't revealing the "hidden" details), he responded and I understood where he was coming from a lot better.
Basically, here's the deal:
Brandon posted everything about Brandi that was just about Brandi.
However, he knows some other dirt that, while more revealing about Brandi, also exposes private details about other people she may have had involvement with. David Sklansky is an excellent example here. Brandi shared a bunch of dirt about Sklansky with Brandon. Brandon wants to post that dirt, but at the same time, has enough respect for Sklansky NOT to post it unless he says it's okay.
Some of you seem to believe that Sklansky has given Brandon the "green light" to post everything. That's not true. Sklansky only gave him the green light to post what he witnessed himself or KNOWS to be true -- not to repeat gossip that Brandi told him.
Here's a good (but completely made up) example.
Say that Brandi told Brandon that, in July of 2007, Phil Ivey gave her a Bellagio flag in exchange for a night of nasty sex. Say that Brandi also told Brandon that Phil had impotence issues and had to pop Viagras to perform. While this story would serve to further expose Brandi as a poker whore, it would also start a rumor (whether true or untrue) that Phil Ivey can't get it up. And that wouldn't be fair to Phil Ivey. So Brandon wouldn't post such a thing NOT to protect Brandi, but to avoid starting rumors about Ivey.
And, of course, it goes without saying that I made up the entire paragraph above, and I have no knowledge of Phil Ivey's ability to perform. Can't be too careful these days, given all the poker pros who keep threatening to sue me.
