If that happens before any serious competition comes around, that might be the end for online poker. If recreational players don't know where to take their money when Amaya goes down, there's a high likelihood for a significant number of them just looking for something else to spend their money on. And that doesn't even include the possibility of some/all player funds lost in case of Amaya defaulting. This time, nobody would be bailing out players and I don't see people depositing somewhere else after losing their money (again).

They have announced that changes are coming. But not what those are or the exact date.
Thay have kind of dropped that rakeback could be given for play across all their offerings (casino, sportsbook, etc).
So, until they announce that, you'll have the supernova rakeback. After that, it doesn't look great...
