I first read the title as "monocle" and thought, "Why haven't I seen pictures of PH wearing a monocle before? It seems so suited to him"

That is laughably bad .... it is an anti-logo.

One comment succinctly likened it to a tramp stamp

Now, you gave him the idea. He will do it to have a keen eye on the game.

Goodness - poker news, views and gossips are slow this time of year.

Yeah but who cares about his logo/brand? How is this joker still relevant in the poker world. Does he even play anymore aside from a few WSOP tourneys a year?

Reminds me of Trump. He made up his own monogram as well. All these old money wannabes.

I'm pretty sure a lot of it is just self branding to keep your "brand" more relevant. I'm sure he's naturally a cry baby and whiner, but I feel some of it is (over-) acting to get himself extra camera time to stay relevant.

In the end it means he gets sponsorships, invitational events, and basically get to freerolls those few WSOP tourneys.

Thread needs photoshopped pics of trampstamps

First rule of logos that have text in them - the text must be readable. This logo fails.

For about 10 years, every time I saw the PokerStars logo, I'd kinda see "PakerStars".

Phil's logo always reminds me of the Quake logo

After looking at the Quake 3 logo, I'm convinced that the kid who designed Phil's logo was once a Quake fan.

Have you ever seen a poker player wearing PH branded clothing or accessories in a casino (or anywhere)?

I can't imagine what type of person would go out of their way to spend money on merchandise with "famous player" name/brand on it. Especially if that person is a whiny little bitch. I don't even wear FREE jackets/hoodies/hats with casino logos on them.

It'd be semi-funny if the logo was in the "tramp stamp area" and only available in 3XL+

Not sure what's worse... a random person wearing PH gear or a passive fish wearing "3-BET" gear but never 3-betting with less than QQ preflop. Pretty close in atrocity.

You've just shown why is better to play tighter if you're wearing 3Bet gear.
