So let me get this straight. I can reopen my old full tilt account since i relocated from the US. But when i get it unlocked i wont have rakeback anymore and i wont have any funds since the DOJ supposedly has them. Luckily i can make a deposit to play on Full Tilt. Think ill just bend over right now.

LOL at anyone thinking they were going to keep the existing rakeback system. It's so much more profitable for them to handle a player rewards system themselves than giving out cash to all these affiliates (also eliminates the issue of shady affiliates). It's also fairer to those who didn't or couldn't get rakeback.

This needs to be addressed, lots of US players relocated, its insane that they wont get their funds in their acct as the ROW are

This is what the DoJ insisted on. I'm not sure what you want Stars to do. Call the DoJ and demand that they return enough money to Stars to pay people in your spot? Should they just front an extra few million out of pocket?

A few points about the new system...

"It's better for all the players that didn't have RB" Well obviously...getting something is better than nothing...

"Why do you even need RB your supposed to try and win" Completely missing the point - players that were marginal losing players/BE players got an extra 2bb's/100 hands approximately which meant those bad players were kept in the game and you made more $$$.

What does $2.50 per 100 FTPs mean for you? Go back and try and remember your Iron Man calenders - I vaguely remember getting around 1000 points per day when I played so $25 RB - not a million miles away from my 27% (we're talking a few $$ either side) assuming I don't have to play 20 million hands a week just to get to the top tier.

So long as the top tier is something like 250-300 FTP per day average I'm sure it will be fine.

I'm concerned about the marginal losing player/BE players and the multi table nits leaving the player pool cos they were the biggest cash cows going - sure spewy fish gifted you a few buyins here and there but you could rely on those bad regs to be sitting there losing $$$ to you and getting it back via RB - now this wont be the case!

I hate to say anything, because I know I will get yelled at a lot for this. But here goes.

Everybody who wants FTP to simply resume as it was in the past is purely whistling in the dark. The old FTP is dead and gone. The software and some employees are still there, but all previous arrangements re affiliates, rakeback, rewards systems, etc. are GONE!

It is irrational to expect things to be as they were.

No no I think everyone is on the right track so far. I heard from Chinamaniac's source that if 51 people complain about the rakeback and promise not to deposit that FTP will automatically give them 110% rakeback instead.

Since there is going to be pairing of FTP and PS accounts is it possible to change screenname on one room to the screenname from other room?
Not sure if I explained it clear, so here's an example: My screenname on PS is xxx1, and my screenname on FTP is xxx2 is it possible to make my screenname xxx2 on both rooms?
Had some problems while registering on PS and after trying few times I got frustrated and made my screenname something like kasjdfhaskjdfh And ofc it's worked this time

Yes rakeback is a gift...Its the reason people played on full tilt but it was a gift.It was great.

Its not like they have to give it to us.It was a huge bonus and was great but if its not there then its what is expected...A normal VIP system is normal. Rakeback was the nuts but if they dont give it then il get over it.

The have no obligation to give anyone antyhing back so even getting any sort of money back whether its vip or rakeback is great..


You have to realise that you are lucky to even be getting your full tilt money back so stop complaining about something that was a luxury in the first place.

I'll wait for more informations but 25 % + full value FT points + bonuses + other promotions may not be that bad, compared to stars anyway.

It changed to 10 when they introduced Black Card.

I think people are jumping the gun a lot on damning these changes. We don't know the full extent of what promos and bonuses will be available yet. The fact that we are even getting things like our mid year bonuses should buy enough good faith for us to wait and see rather than froth at the mouth at a partial picture of how things are going to be.

I'm still in us and a, gonna wait and see what happens. The old FTP was the nuts. 45% rake back through an affiliate And I was top tier so was getting 4x points.

Well those days are over, with the new system I may just stick with Merge. The pokers.......

I'm a silver star and I basically get like 10 or 20$ every other week from points. On tilt I got that every other day rakeback.

Rakeback was a key reason that made me play there, along with the software and rush.

If I can only get as much as stars, why would I play on tilt anymore.

I agree we have to see and wait. But I'm worried for sure.

FTP Rep: Please build in better bot protection from the start (which is the optimal time to prevent bots).

The 25% is a flat RB for EVERYONE, no matter what your volume of play (10 FTP's/$1 rake and 100 FTP's=$2.50)

on top of that you get to spend the FTP's earned in the store without a RB hit (worth up to 4-5%)
+
plus whatever Black Card gives us extra for the higher volume grinders (this is what we need to wait and see the value of)
= 30-40%+ ???

The 30-40% might not be quite as high as previous RB% for the highest level of grinders on FTP, but its certainly not bad, and it is certainly better for smaller volume players (fish).

Seriously considering NOT playing on new FTP. New system looks really bad (esp. for high volume players) + all the loyalty over two years = worth nothing anymore.

Shouldnt one of your targets be, to get all your loyal customers back, who were screwd by the company!? And the first thing you do is get rid of the rewards for loyalty!??? Fail imo.

On a personal level, I think this will be better for me than the 27% I was getting before. I was in and out of Black Card a couple of times, I (maybe stupidly) didn't do or get my head around any of the Iron Man stuff but I didn't want to spend a single one of my points to avoid messing with my RB.

It sounds like it will be pretty easy for me to reach and maintain the top tier and I'll be able to make some use of the few hundred thousand points I have sitting in my account....... Plus... they are giving me my ENTIRE roll back.

I am a blackcard member from Germany with more than 5K in my FTP-acc but didn't get any e-mail yet... should I be worried?

So about the Mid Year Bonus payout , u guys think this is something we will have to release by increments and have to put in the volume to realese it ? Or just a straight deposit in our account off the bat ?
