no clue why ivey is playing ben. i guess he figured since he was in profit from the earlier session he might as well gamble and play HU.

didnt take long for ben to decimate ivey's 400k stack. ivey with less than 100k left now.

Lol at decimate. Ivey never really had a 400k stack. Ivey started the HU with like 180k stack. So Ivey got it up to near 400k himself with just playing vs Ben. And so he's only down about 100k in the HU match atm. Swings.

I've always wondered, does anyone know if players like Ben, Sauce, Jens, or other high stakes PLO cash players have been offered stars sponsorship deals? Do they just choose not to be sponsored? For that matter, Ivey as well. Seems like Stars would definitely try to get him on their team, even with the Full Tilt controversies.

ok, didnt know that he got to 400 from HU vs ben...i thought this was the remnants of a 6max session that broke.

either way, ivey did work it up to 400k and ben has wiped that clean. at the time of this writing, ivey has ~100k. so ben has put a 300k dent into iveys highest profit of the match.

and again i ask, i wonder why ivey is playing ben?

300k is 7.5 buyins, it's hu plo
10-03-2015 , 02:39 AM
Yeah, I mean either way it's dumb/absurd to say that Ben has decimated Ivey because Ivey was 200k up, but is now currently 100k down. Especially when their stacks are mostly around 80k deep each.
But Ivey has often been one to battle the best at games/disciplines. He's basically done it at every game throughout various points in his career, particularly HU.
So I wouldnt be surprised if he is just battling for the challenge atm, and doesnt actually think that he has an edge

I don't see this ending well for RaiseOnce

What are their stacks at now? Or has it finished? (I'm on my phone)
HSDB says that Ivey is still up 40k at that table. Which was last tracked 25 mins ago.

ben bluffs river and ivey calls with 9th pair. bens merge works as iveys 9th pair bluff catcher is no good and bens mere sixes full wins the pot, causing ivey to offer a single "gg" in chat and quit. ben ends up with 400k stack.
