What if a huge fish sits down at HS in an hours time? Are all these top players who have said they will strike really going to pass up on the opportunity? Big kudos if so and will be interesting to see.

They aren't on strike though - they are just not playing.

Big difference - they are not employed to play.

i really have limited experience in pl TD. but doesn't seem that crazy? maybe he broke a 9 because he thought opponent had a 8 or better.

also all the money is already in the middle which im sure effects things

Would imagine Raul pats behind on the second (he obviously kept 7652, so maybe threw a 9 or possibly 8), hoping his opponent isn't that strong and will break his weaker pats having seen him pat behind. When he doesn't, Raul has to break himself.
