But I don't think the losing pro is durrr in the hand. Tricket said the pro was playing 45 hours kind of tight. And I doubt Tom Dwan will play tight in a long session like that.
So Durr isn't the chinese pro Trickett mentioned because he is not tight enough?

You got it wrong, he said there were 3 players - the fish, Chinese pro and pro. The pro who bluffed wasn't labelled as Chinese.

- recreational player
- chinese pro (folded on the turn)
- "aggressive player" (did he call him pro at any point?) who ran the bluff, tired (not tight) after playing 45 hours

This should sum it up and fix the misconceptions.

Three players:

Recreational player
Chinese pro
Aggressive player

Blinds HK$100,000/HK$2,000,000

Recreational player limps (positions unknown). Chinese pro raises to HK$1,000,000. Aggressive player re-raises to HK$4,000,000. Recreational player and Chinese pro calls.

Flop:

A53ss

Aggressive player cbets HK$7,500,000. Aggressive player and Chinese pro calls.

Turn:

2s

Aggressive player bets HK$12,000,000. Recreational player calls, Chinese pro thinks and folds.

River:

3

Aggressive player bets HK$65,000,000 into about HK$59,000,000. Recreational player thinks for 30 seconds before calling with AK. Aggressive player was bluffing with T8 suited.

Pot was at around HK$189,000,000 converting to $24,000,000.

I thought I was looking at a comment from 2009 for a second. If you've been following the high stakes thread, in the NLHE HHs most players are overshoving in a lot of spots. You'll even see it down to smallstakes with players trying to abuse capped ranges. Definitely not "just a durrr play" anymore.

Why the hell Tom has to become scammer for $1.5M if they play $20M pots sometimes? Even if he has backer, $1.5M is peanuts compared to these games and wouldn't be such a big deal to front Tom $1.5M so he doesn't have to be scumbag.

If any of this is true then clearly like every pro who plays is backed in those games & who the hell in the poker community even got that cash to back these guys?. 28mill pots wtf.

If they are playing 20 million pots, then its hardly worth it to play for 1.5 m over a period of months.

theres overbet bluffs, then theres "balls the size of cocunuts" durrrr overbet bluffs

not saying it was Tom, but to say high stakes pros overshove these days does not mean every player has the capability to fire 15 million into a pot

Tom Dwan made durrrr challenge and when he started losing he stopped playing. Instead of paying out $1.5M he owes as a sidebet, he prefers to hide & make up excuses.
