Hmmm Stars buys HSP but no Viktor Blom??? What the hell, Isildur1 should be on the show seeing how soon to be defunct Full Tilt yanked their pro's.

It would be cool to see Jungleman, Blom, Galfond and crew.. Going to miss Ivey though..

I hate to burst any bubbles, but the actual playing and filming of the hands was done a few months ago. All of the commentary (whether by Gabe or Norm) is all done post-production. There may ad-libbing, but nothing is done as the hands are being played out live.

I was hoping for a Isildur1, Ivey, Antonius, Durr, Galfond, Negreanu, Brunson table
u can alternate any two players into that lineup weekly just to bring new $$$ to the game. I guarantee that that would be the highest viewed poker table on tv since ladies week on PAD
how sick would that be

Norm is a very polarizing comedian, but I love the choice. I can't wait to watch. He might be great or it might be a train wreck. Either way, great TV. It's a contradiction, but Norm's really funny (at least to me) when he's bombing.

Gabe was one of the best parts of HSP...he is probably the best poker commentator on TV...and as funny as Norm is, he may or may not be able to live up to the very high standards that Gabe has established... But let's give him the vendor of a doubt and see how he does.

But the player line up looks absolutely awful..I highly doubt even Gabe could salvage this season.

Interesting. We haven't done any tour stops so most of my interactions have been with his manager, Rich Belsky.

We are lining up a prop bet with Matusow, Mizrachi and I for all of the DeepStacks stops this year + WSOP events that we play. We are thinking the Stars TLB calculators will be the fairest.

Disappointed Gabe is gone, thought he was a fantastic announcer. Norm could go either way, think he might be pretty decent actually. Wish he was co-hosting with gabe tho, not sure he'll be able to sustain the show all on his own.

Pardon if it's been mentioned, but Norm is well-documented as a gambling addict. Is that really good for the image of the show?
