on the one hand it looks like HSP has really gone downhill

but on the other hand, a) this could actually be a really good host and b) ivey,PA and durrrr were largely absent from the first couple of seasons, and HSP was awesome back then

Agreed, he was constantly saying people should raise to find out where they were at, or that they should have donkbet the flop (when the other guy ended up hitting on the turn).

He was hilarious though, but Norm's comedy is actually really similar to his stylistically I'd say, and Norm is hilarious. I think Gabe fans will like him. All the one-sentence geniuses typing "RIP HSP" cause of Norm in here (clever) either think Norm MacDonald is the Norman commentator from the WSOP, or they're just idiots. Very excited for this.

- Do you know, and are you allowed to say which episodes you'll be on?
- What drew you to get involved with Deepstacks?
- When are you and Dan gonna have time to come slum it with us low limit guys again? The games have been rather boring of late.

I don't have a prob with Norm, I'll miss Gabe and those are big shoes, but Norm can be very funny.

What really concerns me is the lineup, which looks pathetic.

I have been kept in contact with Matusow and his manager Rich Belsky for a few years now and the opportunity to invest came up. It was a perfect fit. I didn't play the main last year because I didn't have time, now I will be forced to make time to play events because there is business attached to it.

It is gift & toy show season so I have been traveling a lot and it doesn't slow down until mid march. Dan and I are going to the DeepStacks event in Miami this weekend then I think Dan is in town until March but he recently quit smoking and I think the smoke bothers him at local games.

No Dwan and Ivey = EPIC FAIL

I also don't understand why players who have only had success in tournaments get picked for these cash games, they never play very well, and are never that interesting.

Jury is out on McDonald. I'll wait to see how good his poker knowledge is before I judge. He definitely has the potential to be funnier than Gabe.

I loved Gabe though.
