I'm SO confused, but I'm also so proud of myself to actually get it... it's an amazing joke. It's truly a level of brilliance that is possibly beyond comprehension to anyone not in on it.

I now realize whatever confusion I feel is the residual aftertaste of realizing that even though I get it, the joke has levels I will never understand, and therefore I "get" nothing - the joke is still on me.

This show/pilot is essentially a perfect example of what ADZ wishes he could claim his own POS "reality" pilot to be, a well thought out hoax to prove that he's capable of making everyone who took it seriously look (harmlessly) like a fool, while proving he's a genius and has a hysterical sense of humor at the same time.
