These have easily been the best interview videos done @ this WSOP IMO because they cut straight to the point and in 2 or 3 minutes you get a hell of a lot more content than you would in most other interviews because of the way they are edited by SrslySirius

All of them have been great but here is a tidbit from Chris Moneymaker where he reveals Jamie Gold was once an employee of his

you call it a containment thread and post one video?

he actually said he never paid gold so he wasn't really an employee

You can be an employee and not get paid.

Thanks for starting the thread. Someone will have to x-post the Doug Lee videos here as those are two of the unintentionally/intentionally funniest things I've seen from the poker media in a while.

Never mind, I'll just do it while I have a break in the action.

"My one student has made over 12 final tables..."

So 13? Why not say 13?

"He's given me an extra 3 or 4 thousand dollars..."

3 or 4? What amount has he given you? Oh right, this **** is all made up on the fly.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'm new to this sort of work and trying different approaches out. I'm glad to see that some of it has been well received.

Some other memorable interviews that come to mind are Chino Rheem, Matt Marafioti, and Joe Hachem. Stump the Kevmath was fun to work on as well.

Thomas, you should self-promote these more. I follow you on twitter and still had no idea about any of these videos. In fact I watched the Doug Lee one but had no idea that you produced/edit it (To be honest I'm still not even sure what you do exactly).

I knew you started working at bluff but never heard anything else, I figured it was on the back-end doing web work or something.

I didn't even know Bluff did videos, if I had I would of been watching these all series.

You just edited these, right? You weren't actually in a room with Marafioti were you?

I conducted most of the interviews, created the graphics, and edited the videos. I'm not really cut out to be a promoter, as I have a small Twitter following and little else to work with.

I was in the room with Marafioti and met him a few more times thereafter.

The best ones are the guys that are thinking they are using this opportunity to repair their image but actually reinforce their douchiness -- like Doug Lee and Matt Marafioti. MM talks about how he talks to cab drivers, doormen, waiters and waitresses "like they're a normal person." How big of you, Matt. Erick Lindgren does some image repair but actually comes across quite well.

There's something about this format that makes it more engaging and personal than when the interviewer is on camera and on mic. SS, you really should get your bosses to promote these more because many of them are so much more interesting than the typical "I think I'm playing well...I have a pretty tough table draw" type of interview. Well done.

Exactly what I had in mind with "unintentionally/intentionally funny." Marafioti certainly falls under that category.
