My Carbon cashout is taking longer than 5-6 weeks, time to panic? My Carbon cashout is taking longer than 5-6 weeks, time to panic?

ya OP, seems pretty standard at times for Merge.

like someone posted earlier, there are times when the check can arrive in two weeks, three weeks, hell ive had them in less than a week(rare) but 6 weeks is not uncommon at all, dont panic

has their process to withdraw from the american market taken four years to be fully implemented or could it be you do not know what youre talking about?

Every site catering to Americans that isn't regulated by Nevada or New Jersey, basically.

don't you have e-wallets in america?
Not ones that allow poker transactions.

I'm sure that way of cashout would be much faster.

Cool your jets, Chicken Little. You seem to be the one who doesn't know what they're talking about considering you think this is some kind of sign of leaving the US market and not the standard processor crunch.

So the most you can make on merge is 25K a year? Fyi, I cashed out a few months ago and it took 6 weeks.
03-24-2015 , 06:10 PM
As an American with no connections, yea about 25k a year.

If possible this sounds like it would be worth it. Go to the beach in Mexico. Make a nice little vacation out of it to get your 22k.

Not sure where people are getting the 4-6 week timeline.. I haven't heard of a single person receiving a check within 4 weeks in 2015 while several including myself have gotten it in 7 weeks.. 5-7 weeks is most accurate prediction while Carbon still advertises 3-5

You can also get same day payouts on SealswithClubs (bitcoin only) and Bovada gets you checks in about a week, moneygram/Western Union even faster. I just don't get why merge takes so long for US payouts when the other major US facing sites have gotten their payout times in order. Such a waste of good software on a less than meh company.

Still, they've always paid what they owe so OP title is definitely misleading. Maybe a little negative pub will get them off their asses and motivate them to compete with other major (US) sites when it comes to this stuff . . . nah

Bovada boys, learn about it. Payouts in 5 days, no reentry-tourney packed schedule, much better imo.

americas card room has my checks to me in about 2-3 weeks (one free check a month)

you can also have it sent directly to your debit card as many times as you want for a fee ($25 i think, and its in your account in about a week)

Checks were taking up to 9 weeks PRE BLACK FRIDAY so this is nothing new

Post Black Friday they have been anywhere from 10 days to 8 weeks at times.

Last I heard ROW is getting paid within a week but I'm not certain on current time frames.

When you know this little about the subject at hand, it's probably best not to bother posting about it.

Two years ago this time it was taking 10-12 weeks. I hate Merge, but they always pay.
03-25-2015 , 02:32 AM
Yea their pretty much always on the back end of that timeframe (but they are still within it and that is important).

The bothersome thing for me is the fact that your transaction is in limbo for 6 weeks before you can even request another $2500 max cashout. Would take ~1 yr to get 20k out and that's assuming it doesn't get worse or if they somehow vanish, cease to exist, or whatever which isn't likely but is certainly not 0%.

If you have any aspirations to make significant money as an American, Merge is not a viable site for you.
03-25-2015 , 02:41 AM
I think the reason most people think that the "sky is falling" is because all other US sites have no problem paying out their players in a timely manner and thru numerous options. While merge only offers paper checks that take anywhere from 4-7 weeks with a $2.5k max. Seems pretty suspicious, but to each their own.

Obviously hope they arent the next UB, Lock, etc

good luck OP

I love the mods always coming in to support these sites even if payouts are 8 months, they will support these sites cause their life blood depends on people coming here, member how long this site in particular took to take down LOCK ads. So if your supporting 3 months payments MODS, i bet ad accounts here that arent up to date doesnt fly very well,. Hey we wil pay yo for those ads 8 months from now ACES

from what I remember as a ROW player I used to get paid out in under a week right up till the end of 2012 early 2013 then I remember things just getting so bad I just withdrew everything and not been back.

I could never understand how merge seemed to go down hill after b/f and all the extra traffic. although I only just started playing their early 2011 so not so sure what it was like pre b/f
