Define degen. I mean I remember hearing Arieh talk about best advice is to walk straight our of the casino after poker vs video poker etc. That is an interesting topic. But if by degen u mean biggest gambler on poker I'd say Ivey. But he'd be my guess on biggest seven period. But if Archie ever got a lot of money again I'd say him.

Well I believe the dictionary defines it as - a condition that steadily gets worse. I guess you could say Ivey but it doesn't seem to get worse because he always wins. I guess what I mean is who is the most reckless gambler out there who can still call themself a pro, someone who wins, then blows up, then comes back and wins, then blows up bigger etc etc...

definitely not Ivey. degen would be blowing half his roll, he's basically rolling pennies at the craps table. People like matusow that are broke and still throwing out 2 mil dollar props are the true degens.

No way in hell phil is anywhere near a degen. Just because he gambles alot doesnt make him one. True degens will stay at the casino every other weekend for 30-40 hour stints just going for the rush nonstop at all costs, and then go around harrassing everyone for cash when they go busto for the 70th time. Half the people you guys keep naming are playing well within their limits, get over the fact they can afford it and you cant.
