How old is Matt Marafioti?

I can imagine he would be dumb enough to lose $300k and then say he is going to shoot himself.

Also can imagine him being in Vegas around Christmas time and not being with his family.

I say doomswitch for ALL 28-year old "prominent poker professionals" in vegas at the time until someone fesses up or comes forward with credible info as to who left the chocolate in that cab

once cabbie gets something resembling a reasonable reward/tip life doomswitch removed.

I'm eliminating Jay Farber because he recently purchased a Ferrari and Aston Martin I heard.. Why would he need to take a cab from hotel to hotel ?? (unless he was drinking??)

Also Ben Lamb is a Vegas local though I think he lives in the Panarama Towers so its feasible he uses a cab to get around on the strip from casino poker room to the next...

Scott Seiver? I doubt it.. That guy probably is more focused on his money and calculating how best to maximize it for a profit than he is enjoying the Vegas glitz and glamour/action that was going on around him this holiday time...

I have a friend who is a big sports bettor who surmised the $300,000 from the Cosmo might have been a payout from a Cantor Sports account from the Cosmo. Cantor Sports will take any size wager.
