I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing DiamondFlush in Atlantic City during the production of BRF. It was our last "official production day" and the crew and I shared a meal with her and NoahSD afterwards which acted as a sort of "wrap party". It went on for hours - great food, lots of drinks, and good conversation. A nice memory. She was a great person to have at a dinner table - full of good spirits, laughter and candid opinions about seemingly everything. She generously donated her time, always answering any questions - no matter how random - I had about the FullTilt Scandal promptly and thoroughly. Subject: Poker basically was poker media at a time when the industry needed it the most, and (I don't think Noah would disagree) DiamondFlush was its most dedicated and enthusiastic reporter. She will be missed.

RIP.

These tributes to DF have been moving and obviously heartfelt, but if you truly want to do something to fight cancer, consider joining FAH (Folding at Home) - the world's largest distributed computing project.

Thanks to Alan Lawhon for posting this. I was aware of some distributed computing projects, but not one that could truly help the battle against cancer. [1] I'm going to fire up my home Macbook Pro this weekend and put it to work.

Regards, Lee

[1] In my old Silicon Valley days, we used to divert unused FLOPs at Silicon Graphics to the SETI project. This is a lot more important.

I definitely agree. Her commitment to S:P (and later DFP) was amazing.

I dunno DF but they mentioned her on the PCA stream and it seemed like everyone had great things to say about her.

Funny that this thread was bumped. I reading about some poker-related controversy yesterday and the first thing that came to mind was, "I wonder what Diamond Flush will say about this... oh, damn."
