I think I get the guys viewpoint in that Liv did win EPT San Remo but has done nothing since (of note) but still seems to carry herself about like she is one of the elite players in the game.

This isn't my way of insulting her, but I would like to know how much of that EPT San Remo profit has filtered it's way back into the poker community.

I thought Kevin was quite humble/normal from the clips/interviews I'd seen, the trailer for this however made them both seem suuuuuuuuper arrogant/douchey.

I'm hoping that the producers of the show nudged them into playing up the 'baller lifestyle' as they think it may be more entertaining watching 'ballers' than regular people who happen to travel and play high stakes poker while living a pretty nice life.

I quite like Boree don't know guy, but it seems like they were either cut to look like d-bags or actually are.

Liv and Kevin are a nice and personable couple, but odds are they'll come across as douches on the show because reality TV producers have an inverse Midas-touch where everything they film and edit turns to douche.

all those bashing how good she is, who cares? im sure she doesnt, shes fully aware of her abilities i reckon , and realises that being a poker professional isnt all about your ability as a poker player, she took an opportunity when it came, how many of you have won an EPT or for that matter even came any where near to playing above $10 buy ins on Stars

Vanessa Selbst is deserving of a Pokerstars salary, despite her ugly... uhm... personality. She's put in the work and has the results that are correlative of a "professional".

Liv is deserving of an honorable mention at best, but because of her above-average looks she is placed on a poker pedestal, which is justifiable to droolers like yourself because "Hey, what about San Remo? Have YOU ever won a 10k?"

Not to say I don't get it, cause really, I do... She's the most attractive girl to ever win a $10k, and therefore the boner factor goes up 1mm%.


I guess the reality is that pretty girls rarely have the brainpower to excel at an intellectually challenging game. Why? Well, it's a lot of hard work and devotion, and why bother when you can either a.) Bink a $10k and get the same level of fame as someone who has consistent, time-proven results, or b.) Find a rich man to take care of you and not give a **** how intelligent you are.

All that aside, it's my understanding that Liv is of above-average intellect, therefore option a.) is the most likely scenario, and the lack of results after San Remo would back that logic up - it's just not worth the effort, especially when she sincerely knows how lucky she was to win in the first place.
