sweet, anything poker related is good for the cause when its shown on national television..regardless of who is starring in it, good choice though with liv imo she seems pretty interesting/popular in the poker world

I don't find Liv Boeree particularly attractive but I don't dislike her either. Basically she managed to bink really really hard at the exact right time once in her life and has parlayed that into becoming a professional poker player regardless of how successful or unsuccessful she's been on the tournament scene since. Good for her.

All I know about Kevin Macphee is that one hand he played against Vanessa Selbst in some EPT where she opened UTG+1 with 44, he 3bet with A9o, she 4bet, he min5bet, she 6bet jammed, and then he tanked for 10 minutes before calling off. And then after winning the flop he tweeted that he 'successfully induced' vs Vanessa. Which is pretty lol and makes it seem like he deludes himself into being a way better player than he actually is. But who am I to gauge his skill level.

I think they're meant to come off as "having it easy".

They make it sound easy: play poker, win a lot of money, easy game.

Its good for attracting new players into the game which is probably why they didn't get more fun people like Laak and Antonio cause these two guys kind of express how sick and hard it is to play poker for a living.
