My name is Stavros "Gyro" Papadopoulos, the so called "Greek Poker Prodigy" and I can confirm that Girah did nothing wrong.

Hey Stavros, I've heard all about you! Is it true you have the all-time win-rate record for any Greek player in history? 0.2bb/100?
05-16-2011 , 12:19 PM
lmao @ gyro

I have played highstakes HU vs IneverfoldI and there is 0% chance he has even remotely an edge vs girah. Also, there are a ton of Portugese players on Lock, huge Portugese following there. The alias SamChauhan is not the real Sam Chauhan. Girah has absolutely no incentive to win bluff challenge (not even 21 for wsop). I am friends with they guy who won and Girah is always asking him for high stakes HU.

You sir, are the stuff of legends

Still no response. Has girah given up on trying to salvage his reputation?

He's probably busy studying and analysing hand histories.

Yeah, I'm gonna with this being the most likely explanation.

And lol @ those who think his english is too good.
Just because you can't speak your own language correctly doesn't mean that everyone suffers from a similar lack of intellectual abilities.

Thread needs more attention.

Where are thou Portuguese cheating bastard.
05-29-2011 , 07:13 PM
^ more attention? it's been on the front page for 3 months and has 270,000 views....

I found it on page 8, no need for that. People need to know Girah is a plain simple cheater who has lied himself into a mess and now has remained silent for weeks. I wonder what big names are involved in the scam (american backers who were playing on his account) but I guess we will never know. Money brings out the worst in ppl.
05-29-2011 , 08:23 PM
Lol at all the people so sure he is a cheater, people love to hate. His backer loses 30k playing plo on his account, without his permission,(which backer later shipped to him) and people are ready to hang him. He owes nothing to this thread or the multitude of trolls in it.

Luckily for you this is something that you'll never have to worry about, unless of course you consistently lose at $10NL for fun.

Would like to hear from Girah but fear no art has a point there

Yeah he kinda does considering he came here, made a giant self -fluffing speech and then mysteriously disappears when NVG asks for more evidence.

Americans are obviously playing on his account vs Euros then he ships them the money. All this talk of "my backer played without me knowing" need verifying by lock.

It'd be interesting to see how many other times Americans have played on his account/s, since he started playing HS. But of course we'll never know.

And of course much of the HS community will back him (itt) because it's possible and probable that some of them are in on it.

Just a comment about his English being "too good". I lived in Spain for a few summers and one of my friends over there a scottish girl started seeing a spanish guy. The following summer when i went back she spoke really good Spanish. What i'm getting at is that if you want to learn a language then 6 months is enough to learn to a good standard if you want to learn and apply yourself. Also all the latest films in Spain (obv Portugal aswell) get released in English with subtitles so lot's of young teens in Europe speak and understand a good standard of english with all the Films/ Music etc they watch/ listen to.
If he did want to learn and obv looks like it what is "too good" English for him to know?

This entire thread epitomizes the exact reason online poker needs to be regulated, and U.S Legislation is needed in order to move forward!

This is 100% an elaborate scheme w/ some real kid (Girah) acting as a front (for a cut obv) for High Stakes players to take advantage of unknowing players on euro sites.

Just literally F*****g disgusted by this entire thread, and the people/peoples who, only you know who you are, behind this.

P.S- I hope you all go to Jail!
