just wanted to say that i've had jose on my skype for the past 8 or 9 months, maybe more, and have skype chatted with him on occasion. He approached me for coaching but we never ended up doing any sessions. I don't know any of the details about his story except that I know he was very young and I know he's a real person.

For people who don't know, Sporting may be the best academy in the world after Barcelona for creating skilled youth footballers in the last decade, with a consistency out of the ordinary. Reading it again it says that you stopped playing at 13 (?), so forget it. There's only national team for 14+, so it was just wishful thinking on your part I guess. Nothing wrong with that. I still find the rest of your story unbelievable though.
