Hi Mike

I didn't know BCLC wouldn't work with PS. Too bad. That was a fun year. By the way, nice seeing you at the 2+2 party after so many years.

The homeless flea market on Hastings is a great place to people watch. Once saw a dude trying to sell individual taco shells

I was going to ask "whereabouts? I'm Lower Lonsdale area" but then you signed your post Sharon and a girl is assumably not gonna want to tell a random guy on the internet where she lives

Play at the Edgewater? I've still never met any 2+2ers who play there although I see people post about playing there on the forum

When I first came here I got a furnished place downtown (yaletown) for 1700 a month with sick internet and everything included.

After a few months I found Kitsilano/Fairview to be the place I wanted to live and now have a sick apt in Kits that isn't an arm and a leg (<1500/month utilities included).

I have lived in NYC, Montreal, London and a few other places, but Vancouver is the stone cold nuts.

Well, I haven't been a "girl" for many decades but I am in your neighbourhood. I haven't played live for awhile but I do play at Edgewater and River Rock. Hoping to get back into it next month.

If you're worried about cost of living, but want access to the city, North Van is the place to be.

Living in Vancouver is expensive but living like 15-20 mins away is cheap. Why all the players come out? Cause the city is always very highly rated as one of the best places to live.

I emailed many posters asking questions to those who relocated to Canada.

Then i emailed stars and they tell me this...

Indeed, why go live in a city if you're a stranger to the country anyway ? Just get a cheap apartment in a small town, all you need anyway is an internet connection and a supermarket nearby.

I'm not from Canada so it doesn't really bother me but I find it funny that you think one incident can affect the livability of a city.

this. It was also a pretty darn lame riot by rioting standards.Vancouver is consistently voted one of the best cities in the world to live in, anyone choosing to move there will love it.

sounds like a crappy way to live. Vancouver has a lot of reasonably priced burbs.

moving to another country that speaks the same language as you seems pretty boring. vancouver is a really nice place if you like the outdoors though.
