FossilMan Greg Raymer is no longer a pokerstars pro?

He's not under 'find a team pokerstars player'.

He was at same table as Pat Pezzin

Pat Pezzin: yo greg
FossilMan: hi pat
Pat Pezzin: why don't you have red star by your name?
Fossilman: long story, call me if you'd like

anybody know what's up?

More importantly who has ever said Yo in the last 20 years?

I told him i started this thread, wanted him to come comment so there would be no speculation. I wish him the best, i think he's pretty solid and takes a lot of bad heat. He said he was coming to read it.

bleh, even though Raymer refused to wish me luck at the FT, because his friend Bill Chen was there, and that's who he was rooting for, I still think Raymer was one of the best ambassadors of the game. Bring him back!

Right, didn't he bink a tournament for a few million? Isildur is a winning player though? They signed the biggest degen in the history of the sport and the community looks up to him as being something other than a cocky 20 yr old kid.Than ran hot for a few months. Greg Raymer is great for poker , hes a great guy and he's actually a very good player , at all games.

Pretty weird.

Raymer seems to represent the site well(he does good commentary and seems to be a good guy).

Also, he is pretty damn solid at MTTs.

Who knows...Maybe he decided to end the relationship for legal or other reasons.

Yep, and out of Moneymaker, Raymer, Hachem, and Gold, he's the most talented and least douchey by far.

Doubt being a pro matters skillwise.....it's all about who is an ambassador for them, who markets the best, etc. Even if Raymer isn't the best, remember who is fighting for your ****ing rights to play poker u NVG idiots.

Confirmed Raymer is a much better player than Isildur.

Outside of the winning the WSOP Main Event he has won a WCOOP, finished 3rd in the 40K No Limit Event at the 2007 WSOP and finished 3rd in the first BPO.

Is he the greatest player out there? Not close, but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts he's better than Mr. check box above. He's a solid player. BTW, 2005 called and it wants its meme back.

Is Raymer even primarily a Hold 'Em player? He does seem like a decent guy and good ambassador for the game.

Wow that's pretty surprising. Raymer is probably one of their top 5 pros and probably the best spoken of all of them. Should be interesting to see if someone else sweeps in to grab him.
