Wow, I've waited for this day for such a long time! Now we wait XD

Had to enter the 0 to my petition number. Missing 2500 because of last day transfer, they had to know this was going to happen. What a ****show. I'd guess they're doing it just because of the laziness/ignorance of people to dispute it.

I don't have the same bank account as I did back then, and even so I'm not sure how to provide documents of something that didn't happen. What are people doing for that?
09-18-2013 , 03:28 PM
what did you guys upload for documents to substantiate your FTP balance? Did other people have to do this?
09-18-2013 , 03:30 PM
Wooohooo! Petition filed, and confirmation email received!

Balance is correct too.

Hope everything goes smoothly now.

re: adding a 0

how many people out of hundreds of thousands will just give up if they have a few hundred bucks online? How does a professional organization just leave it up to the end user to figure that out? There is no way other than guess work to know that. GCG is just causing more problems for themselves and they'll probably have to field thousands of phone calls from people that don't use 2p2 and are confused as ****.

I was only going to try the zero solution because ironically, those what I have to do with a lot of player cards from casinos when I log into their sites O_o

I guess it was too much to hope for last day withdrawals to be taken care of. Hopefully we can get some sort of official guidelines on documentation for that problem, since it will be very common.

has any previous beta testers received the email. I haven't yet. FTP funded my ftp account directly as I completed task for FTP academy.

So people with no email should continue waiting or file a new one?
09-18-2013 , 03:35 PM
I think it would be prudent for those hoping to dispute their balance amount to take a deep breath, calm down, and wait over the next week or two for people to chime in with their experiences trying to dispute/any advice given by experts.

Those saying they won't dispute just to have this experience over with might be able to receive $1000's more if they are just willing to spend a few hours digging through bank records/going through the dispute process. Don't act rashly.

What documentation are you going to use to prove your account balance?
09-18-2013 , 03:36 PM
It says in the Claims administrator notice that "You must have deposited funds into an account with FTP" to be eligible for remission. If I never made a deposit, only received an xfer from another player, does this mean I am not eligible for the remission of my funds? I registered with the website a couple of months back and have right around 5 figures in my account, yet I have not received a remission email from GCG. Can anyone please provide me with accurate information on this? I haven't seen this problem being talked about by anyone else

Huge mistake! And, that goes to anyone else. Do not give up. Find the email confirmation where you withdrew as proof. Submit it and they should have enough information to know you didn't actually get it. Don't let them give you less money than you deserve. You're not forfeiting the balance shown by contesting to get more.

I think you're paranoid. I'm pretty sure it was an inadvertent mistake that will be fixed.

Pretty scummy they don't include the 2k I lost on bf, but they don't seem to be crediting it for anyone who won after 4/15. Oh well I guess?

if everyone waited over the next week or two, there would be no one to chime in with their experiences

I have no idea. The account exists in their database so they should be able to see it with my name ans info

I did not say it was a conspiracy.

I am sure it is an inadvertent mistake.

That doesn't change the end result.

I requested a check just before black friday (4/11). The check never arrived and the money was never returned to my account. The balance GCG shows does not include the $$ from the check. So yeah, I have my history (excel spreadsheet from FT) and bank statements and that's all I can provide for proof since I don't have a returned check .

Did you try using the account name you wish to receive remissions from as your means of verification?
09-18-2013 , 03:41 PM
For anyone that needs something to upload as proof, try getting your history from FTP, it's pretty detailed and will have all your transactions and balance history. I am sure it is that type of thing they are looking for (because what else would there be?)

I still don't understand how an excel spreadsheet is proof of anything.
