Not sure what I'm missing then. Was there something on the GCG form to validate who you were? I filled it out myself and don't remember anything on it that could clearly link me to my Full Tilt account.

Anyone reputable with more than 1000 posts who is in the same boat?

Seems like a huge security leak if anyone could just submit an email saying they were someone else without validation.

I still have not received the control number. Have clean account and same email address for 10 years.

Have a friend who didn't get their email until a few hours ago.

I called them just now and spoke with a gal who took my info and said they will call me back to confirm if I'm on the list to get a control number.

I only remember name, current email, and email address associated with Fulltilt being on the form, but its been a while since I filled it out, so I'm not sure.

I imagine you will have to provide some form of proof of identification before they actually transfer the money into your bank account.

I used my University e-mail at the time for FTP but it was shut down 6 months after I graduated.

I did e-mail FTP months a go to get the e-mail on my account changed, and I needed to verify with ID and whatnot. I'm not sure if requesting an e-mail change will do any good now, but it's prob worth trying

I got the GCG e-mail

idk.. if you still need to provide ssn, then I don't think it's that big of a security leak. If someone has your email and ssn, then you probably have much bigger problems than whatever the ftp balance is.

fwiw.. I registered with GCG the first day, with an email different from my ftp account (an email I don't have access to). I got the generic email, and I plan on calling them on Friday or next Monday to see if I can get the email sent to the account I registered with at GCG website.

Still looking for an answer on this. Also since I was just staying in the US and not working I do not have a SSN well a US one- I do have A SSN just not US one. I am sure I am not the only one in this predicament.
Maybe try a TIN or just use your non-us SSN.

You will probably just need to be having the money sent to the same name on the fulltilt account. Cant see email mattering

This SSN thing seems to be an issue for some people but should make paying out quicker.

I haven't gotten either email. Account is fine, deposited years ago, had rakeback, few P2P transfers, have had same email for 10+ years. Nothing out of the ordinary, but no emails.

Had not gotten my email by last night and was starting to get concerned. Went to my internet providers website and checked my email from the website and lo and behold it was sent out on Monday but directed to the spam folder. Happy camper now!

Here are the steps that worked for me, since I left comcast as an internet provider and no longer had access to that email.

1) Changed the email address at FTP. You can just log in and change this yourself.
2) Submitted remission form listing old email address and new email address.

I did this a couple of months back and got the email with the control numbers on 9/16. People might want to do this when the remission process opens up again.

I think you had to give the email associated with the account. And maybe screen name. I did all that. Got an email to my main email account with just generic info.

Got email to ftpemail with pin numbers.

The form on the claims site to submit a new email address is no longer available. I think it unlikely that it will be made available again, since the email notices have already gone out. Plus, the GCG won't be getting new info from FTP on updated email addresses for US players.

From what I remember the info asked for when signing up at GCG for updates was your name, address and telephone number and of course an email address.

My FT email and the one I registered with GCG are the same. Have not received either email. When I called them yesterday they asked for my name, physical addresses. When asking why I had not received any notification they asked for my email address and when I asked to be contacted about my issue they asked for my phone number. Of course I have not received a phone call.

waq - sounds exactly like my experience in calling them.

Also, sorry about your cats.

My call today went the same way...
09-18-2013 , 12:50 PM
Mine finally came in at 2:22 CST this morning.
It landed in my inbox, but I had already set up a gmail filter to make sure that it didn't go to spam.
09-18-2013 , 12:51 PM
are people still getting emails. I haven't received mine yet...
09-18-2013 , 12:55 PM
Still no email here, either from the website or from GCG. I tried calling but they have no real answers, she was reading from a prepared list and would not deviate from the generic answers. No info whatsoever
09-18-2013 , 12:57 PM
Yea I had similar phone call. They told me I wasn't supposed to receive an email, but that had nothing to do with validity of application. I think it's all form letter answers though. Reading this not holding my breathe that I'll get phone call anytime soon

Thank you Moose. Moose was the nickname of my first dog. She had been in a shelter for the last 6 years of her 7 year life and did not bark but made a sound that reminded me of a moose. With the help of another dog she regained her ability to bark after a few years.

Yesterday someone gave me a book originally written over 50 years ago called "The Fur Person". It is about the life of a particular cat. What was not in the original book but in the intro to a later addition was the fact that Nabokov rented a house for a year that this cat lived in. It is speculated that the cat was the inspiration for Lolita.

I read half of it last night to take my mind off what we are going through here and now I am going back to it.

I know everyone is thinking no big deal waited over 2 yrs, whats a few more hours/ days but if you say the 18th have it ready for the start of the business day. I mean it may be just a few more hours but it seems like an eternity knowing we are just a few clicks away from confirming our balances.
End rant.
