If I am a US account but have since relocated overseas. I guess I can file my remission while over here but I do not have my US bank account anymore. Could that be an issue or is there an international bank that I could open up an account at that would have branches in the US. Just do not want any issues.
Still looking for an answer on this. Also since I was just staying in the US and not working I do not have a SSN well a US one- I do have A SSN just not US one. I am sure I am not the only one in this predicament.

I'm a little worried about the whole remission process as well. Just waiting to log on and see if my limbo funds got transferred back to credit on ftp. Will be super pissed if they don't since my bank is only allowing me to look at history from 2years of today.

Judging just by the people on here that didn't get their pin numbers email, there has to be a **** load overall that didn't get one so far.

I received mine at 4am EST today. Now to wait for the claim form to be live..

Why is this bad? If you owe the government money, you are already in bad shape and need to pay them off. Them taking the money you already owe them so you owe less or nothing is a GOOD thing. It's bad to owe anyone anything but the government is the one entity you really don't want to mess around with imo.

FWIW, I think the language is "based off of" balances on 04/15, which is different than "is your balance on 04/15".

Hard to say because many people will get their email and not post about it. There's definitely a posting bias for people who didn't get an email.

They said emails will continue to go out the next 2 to 3 days. It seems like most people can't wait that long and will be making phone calls, but keep that in mind nevertheless.

Apparently I'm part of the last 1% since I haven't received mine yet. I'm using a different email than the one that I had registered with FTP, as I no longer have access to that account. I registered on the site some months ago. I received the generic email announcing that the process has started but not one with any login/control number that is specifically for me.

Got an email to an old account with a zero balance. no email to the account that had a balance .

Yes i made 2 accounts, and no i wasnt a cheater lol

The email says you can "login" from the claims page.. Where is this located.. I cannot find it. Email contains a control number and pin.

It may be taking longer than they had anticipated to send out the emails. It's got to be a ****-ton of emails that they have to send, which in and of itself takes awhile. Then they have to deal with invalid addresses and attempt to re-send any emails that failed for some other reason. Something in one of the announcements says to give them a couple of days to resolve bad emails and the like before contacting them.

I got one email with pin numbers to my FTP-only email. And one to my main email with no info specific to my account.

Is there anyway to make a claim yet? I looked on the website and don't see it.

My guess is you most definitely will not be getting an email with login/control #s specific to your account if you are not using the email associated with your FTP account.

Just my opinion, but for security reasons, I'd be very surprised if you or anyone got your personal information at the new email account. To my knowledge no one has got the control and petition number email to any account except their FTP registered email.

The account you registered with Full Tilt is the one that counts because that's the one they know is associated with players. It serves as a security validation mechanism. The email you registered with GCG could have been registered by anyone trying to scam you out of your money. So, unless or until you can convince GCG that you are the player associated with a specific account at Full Tilt, I don't see them releasing the control/petition numbers to you.

But, depending on the information you have on file with Full Tilt, I'm sure it can be done via driver's license, passport, SSN card, and the like. And, assuming I'm right, this is not a bad thing. It's a good thing because you don't want your information released to any Joe Schmoe.

I kind of suspect that you guys may be right. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can no longer access the email that I had registered with FTP. I had a hushmail account that I used only for poker, and it was something nonsensical like oihasdfoiwer383j2@hushmail.com. I have the old email address and screen shots of the cashier, though.

Am I the only one who got an email from my original FT account with the pin numbers, and got another email with the email I signed up on the GCG website with different pin numbers?
09-18-2013 , 10:40 AM
So I know (or at least think) that nobody is totally sure about how this is going to work... but for those of us who made panic withdrawals on April 15th, what are the chances we see that money (I took screenshots of my cashier showing an amount of about ~$5k next to a box showing $4500 of withdrawals). If I only get $5k back when I'm owed closer to $10k, I'll be pretty irritated.

Like I said, I know nobody knows for sure... but I'm just looking for what the general consensus is.

As I said, no one to my knowledge has received a control number and petition number on the email they submitted to GCG unless that email is also associated with a Full Tilt email. If you submitted an email to GCG that is not associated with a Full Tilt email and they gave you a control and petition number, you'd be the first person I know of that got one and I highly doubt you did unless you gave them some kind of ID proof. If you really DID get numbers at your GCG email, I'd be shocked if there's any money associated with it. If there is, you should raise hell about them giving your information to any random person on the Internet.

No one knows. There is no consensus. For anyone that made a withdrawal and didn't get it, we obviously hope it got credited back to your account but we won't know until the site goes live today. It wouldn't matter if there was a consensus because a consensus isn't going to change what actually happens.

Nope. GCG, slow as usual. Guess we shouldn't expect anything different from them.
09-18-2013 , 10:48 AM
Well, I'm the first one then.

I've never seen so much blatant disrespect for the clown avatar in my life.

I received the control and petition number from GCG at the email account that I provided them, not the one associated with my FTP account. Didn't give them any ID proof, just filled out the form on their site months ago.
