I have not seen it addressed specifically anywhere I know about except possibly the email based on your interpretation of this:

Quote:
You are excluded from participation in the remission process if you are:

A past or present employee of FTP or any of its past or present affiliates;

A past or present vendor of FTP that received compensation through FTP players’ accounts;

A past or present Team Full Tilt player;
My interpretation is that a red pro would not follow under any of those buckets and therefore would be eligible able to get their money back, but form your own opinion and any actual red pros will probably be able to weigh in soon enough.

I think it's pretty clear why they are sending emails to people with 0 balances.
If you submitted a total withdrawal that bounced, never happened etc. you would be listed as having a zero balance on BF but would still have funds owed, i.e. you will be one of those challenging the balance shown.
To make sure nobody slips the net, they are emailing everyone who had a US registered FTP account. That also means that nobody can argue they were never informed about a potential claim opportunity. Ass covering all round.

Got my email yesterday at about 10:30 p.m. PDT. It went to my spam folder because it scored so high on the usual tells.

Not much to it... what has been posted above by Tek9ner is exactly mine.

This will be a pretty meaningless post, but just feel like doing it because I'm psyched to have received an email today. Claim number and a petition number. Look forward to signing in tomorrow and seeing if what they think I had is what I think I had.

I have about $17800 tied up on FTP. My balance shows around $13800. A few days before Black Friday I cashed out $2000. Then on 4/15 I tried another $2000 just to see what would happen. So, my ending balance on 4/15 is $4000 less than I am owed.

I'm sure there will be many others in this situation. Hopefully this won't be a problem. I'm assuming that when we are able to check our balances tomorrow their numbers will be $4k short.

I received an e-mail. Have just under $5k locked up. I don't remember if I've ever deposited on FTP, but pretty sure I did an initial $50 deposit at least? Hope I don't get scammed.

Okay, let's try to make at least one thing clear. Everybody that has an FTP account with a positive balance no matter what the source of the money originally was should file a petition for remission. If your balance is not correct when you check it on the GCG web site (beginning tomorrow) and you can prove by documentation, or in any other way, why it is not correct your petition should be for the amount you feel you lost when FTP shut down. This goes for every single account holder that does not have a settlement agreement with the DOJ that specifically names and precludes them from filing a claim. People filing should include Red Pros, rakeback affiliates, current employees, past employees, people that made deposits, people that did not make deposits, etc. It costs you nothing to file. Each petition will be reviewed and allowed or disallowed. If your petition is not allowed you will have a chance to appeal. You can then argue why you personally are an innocent victim even though you may fall into one of the categories of persons listed as not eligible for remission.

Everybody here that keeps asking the same questions over and over about their own specific situation might as well stop. Nobody here can answer you. Nobody! Hopefully there will be more information available tomorrow. I am cautiously optimistic that the balances published tomorrow will include adjustments made for almost all of the issues being raised by FTP victims in this forum. If not, and your balance is not correct, you will have to file your own petition, include all the info and proof that you have regarding your own specific balance and wait for a decision from GCG/DOJ. Each case will be decided independently, so people in the same or similar situation may well experience different outcomes, likely based on the quality of the information included in their petitions.

What would be the best ways to proving your case if the balance is wrong?

What is the best things to include and in what format?

We should discuss what exactly to send and say our petitions if we think something is wrong on our balance.

Lets start planning smart people plz!

Remember, GCG is using the same spreadsheet that you are to see what your balance was on BF.
The only way that there will be a difference is if a withdrawal was requested but not received. If it was a bounced check, send the check. If it was a direct transfer, provide bank statements showing that the funds did not arrive.
Presumably, GCG will then be able to check back on the account the payment was supposed to have come from, if there is not an entry, your appeal will win.

Requested my account history through the FTP client. I was extremely relieved to see a Player to Player transfer listed under "Player to Player Deposit" under transaction type. Hoping it's a good sign.

About two months ago I logged onto FTP to check my account history. While I was there I decided to update my email to the current address that I use. I was expecting the Claims email to go to that address, however it went to the email address that was on my account prior to changing it (in the spam folder).

Just letting you guys know in case any of you had changed your email on your FTP account recently (not sure the time frame, maybe as of a year ago?) to check your old address for the email.

What would be useful is knowing whether or not you had an "affiliate" account at ftp.

And if you never received a check? How can you prove that you never received something. I think it should be obvious though that if you requested a withdrawal on 4/15/11 you did not get it.
