In my case, I had accidentally switched my accounting and routing numbers for my bank account. I got the sense from a GCG rep that many others made this mistake. Very uncharacteristic of me to make that kind of an error but so it goes sometimes.
Upon request I got an email from GCG confirming that my information has been fixed. For the record, I had never received any kind of notice that my info was incomplete and only found out because I called GCG immediately after not receiving a "first batch" email.
