Good luck to all of us. I really hope that the hearing tomorrow produces some positive effect that involves us all getting paid. One time!

I really hope that at least one of these bastards gets shot, and that would serve as a warning to the rest.
One time.

I was not mocking you at all. If you are not a level then you have much to be "extreme" about. Better luck to you sir!

explayer, my heart goes out to you. On the bright side, maybe your story will help a lot of us put things in perspective and realize there's a lot more to life than just money. I have 99% of my net worth (6 figs) stuck on FTP and I feel like I'm blessed after reading your story.

Best of luck, mate. Stay strong.

If anyone is there and wants to start a thread for people to follow with live updates about the proceedings, I'm pretty sure that would be fine.

However, since the hearing will be held in camera with no outsiders allowed to attend, I'm not sure that will be necessary. We'll see how it plays out.

Bug it?

They probably have glass windows. You can listen in with a laser system from across the street undetected.

There is a poker player called James Bord and I think he is ready for action

Wikipedia updated its article on Full Tilt and now everything is written in past sense : "Full Tilt Poker was an online poker" etc.

I very much hope for the best for you. As far as FT goes, things may yet turn out well. It's a huge profile issue with massive industry and media interest in the whole thing, and most people have a big incentive for things to turn out well. Keep your chin up - ain't over by any means.

And good luck to everyone for tomorrow.

If we're to hire Mr. Bond, I can think of a few other things he can do besides bug the room.

I feel sorry for you. But even at this point, it is still much more likely to get your money back than getting nothing back. One reason is that they have to realize they have screwed many people just like you, people who have nothing to lose and also hate them to the guts. They won't feel safe for the rest of their lives if they don't repay people like you.

Message to the mods.......

Im as annoyed as anyone by what FTP has done and how they have treated the players since BF but......

The "internet tough guy" posts need to be deleted/stop in my opinion.

Death threats or threats of physical harm are both unacceptable and laughable. (Dutch Boyd is currently playing in the EPL if you want proof that its rubbish)

As I said I can totally understand how people feel (as I am owed money too) but the BS has to stop.

I got your point. But it is quite LOL to compare Lederer/Bitar to Dutch Boyd. FTP owners owe tens thousands people world wide hundreds millions of dollars while Dutch Boyd probably owes 200 people $400K. It is about probability and math. If you owe that many people that much money, the odds of getting harmed is much much more significant than if you owe 200 people $400k.
Another important difference is that back to Boyd's days, almost all the players were recreational so I don't think any of those 200 people had close to 100% of their net worth on the site like many people at FTP.

Why do you post articles that are 3 and a half months old?

So are Lederer, Ivey, et al. going to be the new Dutch Boyd when/if FTP never pays out? If that's the case the good thing is that there seems to be a statue of limitations on how long people in the poker community think you're a scumbag. Boyd seems to have gotten away with it scot-free.

The FT hearing is suppose to be tomorrow? Or is it tonight for US residences? Anyone got detail info on when, where it takes place?

FTP hearing commences in under 12 hrs time.

The hearing will reconvene at 0900 on Monday 19th September, 2011. The hearing will be held in the Plaza Suite at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel, 18 Albert Embankment, London, SE1 7TJ.

Will AGCC terminate FTP licence or leave in suspended state for another ~2 months??

Time to switch off life support or keep her plugged in for another few weeks?
