There must be a reason why they don't play higher. Maybe they aren't feel comfortable enough playing there. For example Galfond posted in his well that he wasn't happy for the 500/1k tables on FT, and he wasn't even properly rolled for 300/600.

Don´t you think he would be paranoid that his heater 300/600 sessions is gonna come back to haunt him the other way around? . Not like he is running standard in any of these big win sessions.

Honestly.. Of course he would play if he could. He plays 24/7 at 100/200 deep. Why wouldnt he play 300/600 like he did a year ago. I dont think that the players keep on playing on these stakes for too long if they feel that they dont have any edge at all. He's good, he plays ALOT and he knows he's got some kind of edge. A 2,5 mill upswing on PS is not just running above normal all the time.

Bit of an exaggeration. He's only played just over 30k hands at 100/200 on stars, so really not much at all.

btw people always focus on the sessions where Ilari runs well but seem to forget that he is at least 750k below EV in the two big sessions he had vs Isildur last year

I don't think I'm just being a nuthugger, I'm almost certain that this is true. And no matter how far above EV he is since August, it doesn't make up for all the EV he lost in his $7 million downswing between Nov 2009 - August 2011
