Dutch Supreme court says foreign gambling sites have to refuse Dutch citizens - Poker News

So after 10 years waiting the Dutch Supreme Court ordered Ladbrokes and other international sites to refuse Dutch citizens because the state has a monopoly on gambling. Dutch minister of Justice is still deciding on a new gambling policy but I think from what we've seen in the past and with current budget cuts they're gonna try and work all foreign operators out of the market...

The player pool just keeps drying up.

"The government just looks at legalizing online gambling, to the more manageable and more insight into the illegal circuit," says the association. Secretary Fred Teeven does indeed work on a new gambling policy in which he is a part of the international legal gaming opportunities to make so he can draw up rules. But there is nothing known about it.

pretty sure i should be entitled to play a game of skill with my own money whenever/wherever i want instead of governments making up "licensing" systems and then refusing to give any licenses out ffs
