One of my sources (will remain confidential so don't ask) told me this is why Paul Phua got arrested, he was trying to get into this notorious 2-4 snickers game but Dwan didn't get the memo and bailed him out by mistake.

This was about two weeks ago. My friend knows him as "Parx Joe" and noted he's a good and well respected player. Probably didn't know his backstory about the Snickers bars.

In any event, my friend and I were walking through the casino later that night (after Joe had won the tournament) and saw him betting small...roughly $100...at a craps table. For those who know Borgata, the closest table to B Bar...the sort of circular bar in the middle of the casino.

We quietly admired his small ball after such a big score. "He's just having a good time at the casino."

Best Joe Black story, we were at the same table in a Borgata 1k 6 max. Right before dinner break we all get our $10 food vouchers, and leave for our break. When we come back Joe is MIA for about 20 min and his food voucher is still sitting on his chip stack, and he blinding out pretty quickly (he only had ~20bbs) He casually comes strolling back to the table, and the first thing he does is pick up the voucher, look a it, roll it up into a ball and shoot it into the garbage can. He sits and we all laugh and ask where he was, said he went to play some craps and did well, so guess he didn't care too much about the 1k 6 max anymore lol #boss

During his stint in the slammer that $10 voucher would have been like gold to him.

Does "snickers bar" really denote sex in prison parlance?

I think they might just lead to debts. Especially if one is left on a new inmates bed...Better to not accept them if offered them. Same goes for other sugary crap such as Honey Buns and stuff like that too. People go in for white powder and then the prison system feeds them on it inside.

Timely catch at final table

"In a stretch that saw no eliminations, Reddick was able to pull ahead of Jattin before the hand of the tournament went down. At Level 37 (250,000/500,000/50,000), Jattin and Reddick got in a preflop raising war that ended with Jattin six-bet shoving 21.5 million and Reddick calling with two kings. Jattin, however, had aces, but instead of taking an insurmountable lead, he busted in fifth when Reddick found a king on the turn.

Having the rest of the table covered at that point, Reddick easily rolled over Bral, Hector Chevalier, and finally Almog Biton to secure his first live win. "

this is the standard picture taken of every winner of a tournament since forever.

Joe Reddick holds up the hand which won him a cool $200,000 from an Atlantic City casino.

That is a ****ed up but amazing video. I had listened to that song back in the day all the time, hearing it on the radio, but like a lot of metal songs you can't really understand the words. But the song is amazing and now it's in my head and I started listening daily.

I read the lyrics and it's really ****ed up, but still an amazing song and video. Still many things in the video I don't understand though.

I have any song I want on Amazon music unlimited. I will check it out. I probably have only heard the 1 or 2 songs from each album they played on the radio back then.

Yes kudos to him for finding a lawful endeavor. So many don't. I wish him the best!

What a delightful story to bring in the new year. Shows that despite its evils, the game can be salvation for many.
