I think people in debt to someone need to be completely transparent though.

Example: If he really needed all of the money so someone didn't bash his face in, I'd be like alright man how about a small payment for good faith.

Does Lindgren still get to live a high stakes lifestyle (staying in fancy hotels, eating at high end restaurants, etc) while grinding tournaments these days? Wouldn't surprise me given that he's already heavily staked and probably still has plenty of friends in the poker world who are sympathetic to his situation. If so, owing millions isn't necessarily so bad lol

1) the pic has some odd shadows and he's 10 years past his tv prime when people saw him on tv as the "All-American". So that could explain his appearance. I don't think he was ever a big drinker/smoker but who knows about worse drugs.

2) He seems to be keeping his head down and is humbled and not living extravagantly. Big egos fall hard when the house of cards tumbles. But I don't know him or his circle, so who know knows.

3) I'd imagine he's quite profitable in the bigger field low buy-in high gtd nlhe events.

4) First thing I thought of when I read he had massive CL and lost is that he made a deal w the winner to secure some lien/debt-free money that nobody would know about. That's not an accusation or even speculation; it's just the first thing I thought of.

Hope he has it together - mostly for the sake of the people that depend on him or who he owes that will benefit - but also just for his own well-being.

Sad to see such a downfall. Lost all his $$,his incredible Full Tilt annuity, and his beautiful wife & kid. Hopefully he makes a comeback and lives a healthly well balanced life

My cousin had a bad drug problem and went to rehab 3 times. He died way too young. That Lindgren pic is scary because you're right. He looks like he is very strung out.
