Boy, this is really surprising and disheartening. You just don't know what to believe anymore. What's next? Patrik Antonius is fat? Gus Hansen is gay?

Other than Dwan, and I'm not saying that he should be pardon for this but at least he's telling the public all he knows and what he's doing in the future to help fix this crap, is there any other FTP pros that we can genuinely believe?

Put it this way 10 years ago if you took a poll of people online...who is the most trusted member of the poker world? The answer would've been Chris Ferguson. So if he was the most trusted and respected everyone else is a bigger scammer/thief/criminal than him.

Wow, some of the people in this thread are far more weak/forgiving than those in the high stakes thread. You can see how it's so easy to fleece fellow poker degenerates based upon this thread.

Erick owes countless people well into the six figures as it currently stands, which probably is only a portion of his total debt. On top of that, he has flat out lied time and again about payment windows. As far as most reasonable people are concerned, that is scumbag city.

As for Negreanu, he has strong emotions towards a lot of people, but that shouldn't impact how he views actions. If he cherry picks his condemnations based upon personable likability, then that makes him a hypocrite.

Year before last at wsop I met Ericks righthandman , this guy named Terry.... He regged all of Edogs horses and collected moneys etc....

We were eating dinner in a group excluding Edog , but a couple of his well known horses were there.....

Terry is bragging to me as we eat about all the stuff he does for Eric, like coordinating the wall of flatscreens In his house to be installed and he shows me a pic of 9 50" tvs on the wall in a giant grid just for watching games......

Sick life.... Given 250k month to piss away sports betting and backing everything from pool games to poker mtts...

We will def see less traffic at rio this year....no more free ftp horses!!!!!!!

Negreanu still putting up results, and obv no need to defend Seidel, numbers speak for themselves. There was a big charade of sorts stemming from the poker boom around these TV pros, but not all of them have completely degenerative very serious gambling problems. You don't see people like Cunningham, Juanda pop up in these scummy situations - not yet at least, hope that stays the case and restores a tiny bit of my faith in humanity.

I don't think anyone expects Negreanu to give E-Dog both barrels over this. He does have two options though :

1) Make some reasonable comment about how EL is his friend but he is out of line with this, or

2) Ease up on the "look at me everyone, I'm the white knight of poker" he's been doing with people he doesn't like.

I don't suppose either of those are going to happen though, and he can of course say what he likes. Just bear it in mind when you're listening to him, that's all.

I got in trouble for doing this before on here, but I don't care. MODS this is PUBLIC RECORD and for scum bag deadbeats 2+2 should know what type of scums these people are.

As you can see Lindgren owes the IRS $2,358,995 for 2011 and $1,223,296 for 2010 AND further his house is only worth about $331,557 and finally it looks like he has defaulted on his mortgage at least once. To which I say, why doesn't this moron file bankruptcy??? WHAT A SCAB!!!

My favorite part is how disillusioned the "fans" all became once it was revealed that the image various players coiffed on Television was a straight up ****ing hoax and yes, Virginia, by and large, most poker players are total scumbags.

OH MY GOD NOT CHRIS FERGUSON NO! IT CAN'T BE! HE'S QUIET AND IS INTO MATH!

LINDGREN! GOD NO! IT CAN'T BE TRUE! I SAW HIM ON TV AND HE LOOKED NICE!

NOT DOYLE! HE'S LIKE AN AWESOME GRANDPA! NO!

Chimps.

Outrage at Lindgren and the Full Tilt pros in general follows, also discussion of how "live pros" are so often in debt, the intimation seeming to be that a lot of them just pass debts around.
Isn't that how ALL cash is handled between banks, governments today? Why not people?

I wouldn't want to be in Edog's shoes BEFOREE this with the FTP stuff, now its just "ugh".

I seriously doubt ANY debts incurred by FTP shareholders or debtors will be paid back.

The $331K house (the one on Dream Catcher Avenue) was sold in September 2011. The liens on that house are from 2009/2010. So it probably ain't his house anymore.

Even then it is likely he wasn't properly rolled to back that stable. In 2007 Kirk Morrison loaned Erik somewhere around $200k. It was supposed to be a real short term loan kind of thing. I believe Negreanu had mentioned to Kirk to not worry about the loan, that Erik was good for it. Since Daniel and Kirk were very solid old friends, Kirk figured he shouldn't worry. Time passed and Kirk kept asking for it back and wound up having to wait to the point where it was really irritating to him. Finally Bill Edler scored 1st in a WSOP event that year for $900k and Erik paid Kirk back, but I remember Kirk outright saying "I wonder what would've happened if Bill Edler never came in first?".

Probably < 10%... not 90% like "pro poker".

So you are looking to blame someone for ignorant people investing in a company that blatantly and overtly skirted around US law for several years then for some reason are surprised that the people running the company acted in a less than ethical manner.

Look in the mirror, you failed to considered the ethical status of Full Tilt was in question as soon as UIGEA passed and they continued to operate inside the US. Now you want to blame a banner on two plus two for this ignorance.

The idea that your blind trust was betrayed due to no fault of your own is a logical fallacy at best. I digress, keep blaming other people for your and others bad investments.

It is public record, but only because we still operate with 1960's pubic records laws in the 21st century era of zero-barrier personal information.

Are you so indignant about this matter that you would've trudged down the courthouse to get these records, if that's what was required? Or are you just wearing the cloak of 'righteous indignation' to involve yourself in that lamest human urge to gossip?

Sounds like edog has big problems- a helluva lot bigger than not paying off a fantasy league. I see no value in drawing in the hyenas with personal information. Public record? Currently, yes, but it shouldn't be accessible via the internet for free, so people can entertain themselves with it.

Give it another 10, 15, 20 years to catch up. We'll finally come to realize what a huge mistake antiquated public records law are in the internet age. In the meantime, why are you spearheading the effort to post them? Does he owe you money?

I don't blame the mods for not wanting to involve the site with that kind of bull****.

Expected timing. The poker ecosystem benefited ungodly from the free money era, 1999-2006, when house prices were that way.

That was the chance for everyone to make enough hay to set themselves for life. Perhaps 5% did. The other 95% learned a very painful lesson about gravy trains not lasting forever.
