The FTP/Black Friday deal and Erick Lindgren owing money are worlds apart. Yes, both scenarios can be considered super scummy and both involve money, but that's pretty much where the similarities end.

Black Friday pretty much affected the whole poker world. EL not paying his debts did not. Sure it's big news, but it's soooo different from Black Friday.

Can anyone give me a good reason why DN should have to comment on EL?
I can't think of too many times DN has publicly bashed someone for a reason that did not either affect the poker community as a whole or him personally. Sure, he gives his opinions on things, but it's not very often he goes out of his way to crucify someone when it has nothing to do with him.
