Hey Doug. I really like your Poker Hands videos. I was wondering if you would be willing to do a similar video. You'd need another high stakes player to team up with for this. Ike Haxton would be awesome.

You each play a heads up NL session and you send each other the hand histories. You do a review of the session with show known hole cards and win percentages off so it's as if you're playing the session yourself. You agree not to look at opponents hands before hand. There will probably be a lot of boring hands so you can edit out those out. Maybe keep 20BB+ wins/losses that go to show down as well as big laydowns and big bluffs that succeeded.

Anybody can review hands when they know the outcome and look like a genius. You guys are actual poker geniuses and I think it would be fun to watch. If you do it please pm so I don't miss it.

hey Doug, I really enjoy your poker hands videos in general, but I feel like there's more and more mistakes every time, for example in Doyle vs Guy video you mistakenly call K high fd "nut fd", and then forget to mention that J would be Doyle's out if Guy had A2. I remember seeing few small mistakes like this in other new videos as well. I know that you're trying to produce a lot of content, but maybe some more editing time is needed (I don't recall any mistakes in early videos).

I like Doug videos, he's really entertaining and pretty damn funny a lot of the time as well.

As a high-ish stake poker pro I think releasing that Bilzerian video was kind of annoying to the community.

Having a guy like Bilzerian is amazing for poker, he promotes this fairy tale life and whilst doing so he's amazingly created this lie where he's good @ poker. In a failing poker economy one can only imagine how important this is. Bringing fresh blood to the games who aren't going to be putting in time and effort to get good is so, so important.

Like I say, I like ya Doug and I don't know what your YouTube end game is but I believe you care about the positivity of the poker economy and community and if so I wish you'd think twice before releasing videos that'll be negative to a grinder's bottom line.

Just my 2cents.

It was a very entertaining video. Unapologetic candor and honesty is what the public wants today and Doug just gave it to them. That's never a bad thing.

p.s.-- If Dan thinks Doug's assessment is incorrect, he can always engage Doug in an Heads-Up match and stream the game with delay. If it happened, it would likely be the largest viewed poker Twitch ever and great for the game (as well as Doug).

It's unfair to Doug to say he shouldn't have outed Dan Bilzerian as a fake. All the fish in my games knew Dan Bilzerian was a fraud a year ago. Bilzerian opens himself to this kind of criticism by streaming his play while bragging to the world about what a great player he is. If Doug didn't make this video someone else would've, Bilzerian was getting made fun of in all the communities before his video came out.

If Doug took one random high stakes player with a massive downgraph on sharkscope and made a video exposing everything they did wrong that would be horrific for the game, but that isn't what he did.

Bilzerian isn't even someone you can really label as a whale, OK. He f*cking launders millions of dollars of money through poker. Yes he might technically be a donator but not in a way that is meaningful compared to the illegal cash he is able to clean up thru claiming it as casino winnings.

Edit:
Also one last note for the nits going bahhh perkins multi-accounted. Watching Perkins and Bilzerian play made me nostalgic for the days when me and my friends were first learning how to play poker and we used to pool together whatever spare spending cash we had from working jobs like selling frozen yogurt at an outdoor stand or selling dime bags of weed next to an outdoor frozen yogurt stand and we'd all shortbuy together to a $3/$6 NL table or whatever and try to run it up huge and never do it. Fish do fishy things and sometimes the fishy thing they like to do is get together and pool their cash and pick the one they think is the best from amongst themselves to play. Now, granted, I'm now a winning LLSNL player and one of those players is now a winner at $25/$50 private games but at the time we were straight garbage and so are Bilz and Perkins at this time.

There's something called the letter of the law and the spirit of the law and while Perkins and Bilz might have broken the letter of the law in regards to the rules of the site that they were playing on I don't think they broke the spirit of the law. The spirit of the law is definitely that the rule is there to prevent winning players from combining good knowledge together to give them an unfair advantage against even an opponent that is also a winning player. It's definitely not to prevent gamblers from hanging out together and gambling together so they're more comfortable gambling or can gamble bigger.

And in the off-chance somehow either of them ever reads this, Perkins strikes me as a really intelligent guy with a good heart who just might have a slight touch of Asperger's or something like that where he doesn't always pick up on some shades of people's character right away. Bilzerian strikes me as basically a sociopathic criminal hedonist. I would be very cautious if I was Perkins of having Bilzerian in my life and having access to accounts I own that have money in them and things like that.

Watched the HU vid just now and also the video with the hand between Guy and Doyle. Can't say I agree about that Guy raise on the turn, thought it was yuck myself, but you know more so I guess we learn every day.

Some sick results in the HU vid btw. When I first saw the heading I thought "Oh no he is going to give away far too much here" but to be fair it was just a solid and informative video. More people need to transition to HU and hopefully stuff like this will encourage them.

Yo DP,

Do you ever use a hand that you were involved in for your Poker Hands videos?

I just watched your hand with Patrick Antonious from 2/3 years ago at the Aussie Millions and that shiiiiiiiiit was awesome. IMO that'd be a great hand to use!

Bonus comment, you polking fun at Tuchman and Williamsonx3 from the Ivey/Dwan hand was hilarious. I always found their collective commentary cringe worthy.

for the record bilzerian never claimed to be a top level poker player. he equated himself to a minor league ball player playing against tee-ball players to win his vast sums of money. not saying thats how he got it but anyone thinking he said hes the best in the world or whatever got it wrong.

when can i buy my graph t-shirt dan polk???

I just looked at the viewing numbers of your last 30 or so videos.

It is interesting that there is such big difference in numbers, for example the "Dwan puts Eli Elezra in a tough spot" has "only" 28 k views while other Dwan vids get easily 5 time the numbers.
