insisted over and over that ftp was fine, promised a million if ftp didn't payout, then acted like a victim when **** really hit the fan, then when the DOJ finally acts he announces he knew all along that this was happening but could never say anything

No disrespect but he has only promised to dish out the money he has earned with FTP.

Thats a noble gesture only "IF" he actually does it.

Im sure his lawyers will advise him against it so he has money for a defense fund.

my honest feelings is that Durrr was just someone FTP wanted to create (that FTP bankrolled him along the way)....sell players on the dreams of you could turn just $50 into millions.....That it was a PR move.....Ok flame away on me...

I think durr relishes the spotlight a bit too much, and in this case it would behue of him to hire a good defense lawyer, and start working with the DOJ if he truly wasn't involved in the scam. He obviously knew quite a bit about the fraud that was going on before black friday, i don't think he was involved or was benefitting from it, but the fact is he knew and the DOJ's lawyers are probably going to press him now.

I don't think that durrrr had any big part in orchestrating this scheme although he most likely knew some info that he could have shared with us in regards to the status of Full tilt after black friday, like from a phone convo with Howard or the CEO

They may flame you but its a thought.

If he follows through on his promise to put his own money up than I respect him otherwise I may consider the fact Lederer told him Durr you tell them its all ok and Ill pay you your money.

The question lingers more towards Ivey, Lindgren and some long time FT Pro's

Dwan wasn't on the board of directors, was he? He wasn't given $25 million like Ferguson or $42 million like Lederer.
Those guys must still have lots of money in their Swiss bank accounts, which presumably is going to be seized. (If there's any left. How much has been spent on hookers and blow?)

The kid is obviously crazy talented. There's no denying that. His live tournmanet winnings are over 2 MM. He finished heads up in a WSOP tourney with 2,563 entrants and final tabled the 10k HORSE.

But to say that FTP bankrolled him wouldn't floor me. It's a great story and got who knows how many people to deposit. It's a lot easier to play the way he does (did) online knowing there was always more there when you need it.

His newest posts in today's big FTP thread have not enhanced his image, let's just say. IMO

Cryptic, almost baffling posts. Seems like he's almost trying to spin it all and create an alibi or something similar.

What a freakin mess. Thank god I read FTP for exactly what it was long before BF... the only good read I've ever made in this ******ed game.
